I'm actually kinda surprised that she hasn't picked up on it yet...either she's super naive or she's in denial...because everyone I'm friends with thinks it's obvious.

Funny thing is we got voted "should've been a couple" for our senior superlatives last year.

Maybe try something a little more obvious to show her then? Like randomly flirt with her for no reason or something? Do little things that you would normally do if you were dating someone and maybe she'll pick up on it then? Maybe, idk I'm not much of a relationship guru but I don't mind trying to help.

Jesus Christ guys, grow a pair and be honest! If she knows you like her, just tell her that yeah, you fancy her, and that dammit, a date with her would put all this awkwardness aside and either prove that your "like" of her was worth it, or that she's a blankety-blank-blank-blank.

I got in my fight with my best friend who used to go out with her because I told him I liked her and wanted to ask her out (that was actually the end of the fight, we were arguing about other **** about her). Then, he went and told her that I liked her and she asked me about and I told her straight up that I liked her. She told me not to like her because she wasn't worth getting in a fight with my best friend over her. So now I have no idea what the **** to say because she knows I like her since I told her, and she basically told me not to ask her out.

So yeah, there's my situation.

JJ I agree with everyone in this thread. You have to let her know. If you use subtle flirts you run the risk of her not noticing them or taking them the wrong way all together..

Yeah that sounds exactly like one of those stupid "games" a girl would play to drop a hint. I'd just ask her out anyways if I were you. Even though personally I wouldn't go out with a girl that my best friend went out with, and I'd like to think that he'd be the same way.

Your best friend needs to go to her and give the two of you clearance to date.
