And there's a picture section that I decided to look into, and couldn't help but laugh when I saw this one:
How is that possible? How's holding the camera?
I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.
The only explanation I can come up with is it's fake. Not that it's Photoshopped or anything, but that the guy isn't hanging on for dear life... he's just hanging on. It doesn't take super strength to do it; I can do the same thing.
A couple of years ago when I was in Utah I got a picture of this put up on my Facebook. The person that took the picture didn't give me enough time to straighten out my legs.
Excuse the goofy face. Again, the picture was taken earlier than intended.
Anyway, my point is... it's funny for two reasons:
1) If this were real, it would be quite awkward for someone to be taking the picture while he's obviously holding on for dear life.
2) It's a fake (like I said earlier), and just a promo surrounding real life pictures of catastrophic damage to cities and people's homes.
They showed that pic on the news during the live broadcast but i missed what they said about it if they said anything, but the definitely showed it during their live report
Okay, well let's get a little more technical. If the wind were blowing him like that, the side of his shirt wouldn't be pressed onto his mid-section and fall where his stomach is like gravity tends to do such things, and instead we would see the MLB 2K7 hurricane effect "en pause" in this picture. We don't see such an effect.
Besides, that is definitely an ineffective way to hold onto something if that's the only thing preventing you from flying away, though it's the only way to lift yourself off the ground like that naturally.
