dodged another one today, a mircroburst blew through and caused "intense damage" during another round of major storms, I hate to say it, but I'm worried what's next

I feel like there's been several lengthy thunderstorms here the last few weeks.

Thunderstorms feel like such a rare thing the past few decades, but lately there's been so many. Thankfully most if not all have been late evening or into the night.

And I don't care what people say about the fake thunderstorm fact, the "thunder X seconds after a lightning strike tells you if the storm is close" makes sense to me.

A few days ago I finished up the fall work. Mowed lawn for final time of the year while also mulching up any leaves that have fallen.

And now a few days later its snowing.

The weather in Baltimore has been bipolar here lately. Today it's going to be cold but Saturday it's going to be in the 70s.

the weather uptick is gonna happen here, too, we already have wind warnings, Saturday should be interesting with record highs and record winds, the Army/Navy would be affected but they just run it every play anyway

A couple days ago…a dusting of snow. Today…severe thunderstorms with possible tornadoes.

Denver got the first measurable snow of the season overnight (probably an inch or so) and in typical Denver fashion it is mostly melted already.

First measurable snow in 232 days. A record for the latest snowfall in Denver.

Tornadoes just south of my living area. Absolutely nasty wind outside my house. Lights flickering.

Long night/morning ahead

I hope everyone in the path of these nocturnal tornadoes is safe.

Yeah things are very dangerous. A potential EF-5 that has been on the ground since Arkansas and has tracked into Kentucky. A mass casualty incident in Edwardsville, IL where an Amazon warehouse took a direct hit from a twister.

A dangerous situation all around. These nighttime severe weather outbreaks are the worst.

Horrible night in Western Kentucky. Not mentioned here was the damage in Bowling Green, which also took a hit. I know there was damage at the Corvette Assembly Plant.

Thankfully, the storms started weakening as they reached the I-75 corridor. It’s pouring the rain here in the eastern part of the state.

Edit: I say that and then the radar started pulsing back up and it looks like a wall of wind is heading this way.
