Longest for me was from Maryland to Clearwater, FL. 17 hours straight driving. Wouldn't have been bad but left during rush hour in MD and anyone who lives in MD knows what I am talking about.

Haha yeah. A lot of driving but very fun. I'm just glad it's a one way trip.

Longest Flying - Dallas, Texas to Frankfurt, Germany.

Done that flight and that too is my longest. Longest drive was from Wawona, CA to Louisville, 2,290 per Google Maps.

My longest road trip was from LA to Columbus a couple years ago to bring back a car my grandma gave me and my most recent was from Minneapolis to Columbus for the Saints/Vikings game. Longest flight was from Columbus to Hawaii.

The longest road trip I've ever had was in my last year of middle school in 2007 when our class went from Buenos Aires to Bariloche in Argentina. It was 1621 km aprox and it took us like 2 days, I haven't travelled that much and I didn't feel confortable on the bus after some hours but it was worthy because it was my first vacations in another country and the first time I've ever skiied.

Cross country in 7 days. Did some sightseeing along the way.
NY to Chicago to St. Louis to New Orleans to Dallas to San Diego to LA to San Francisco.

Longest was my move from Seattle to Memphis in too short a time. In JULY.

First day we drove from Seattle to Billings, MT.

Next day, INTENDED to go from Billings to Sioux Falls, SD and sleep, but we could NOT find a hotel with a vacancy anywhere that night. So my wife took over and drove through Iowa, then I took back over and we went straight through to Memphis, non-stop driving from Billings MT to Memphis, TN.

Never again. That should have been a four-day drive. Ugh.

Last road trip was GREAT. It was in 2010, and started from my parent's home near San Francisco, and we took four leisurely days to drive up the coast to Seattle. It was simply awesome, cool, and relaxing. Beaches, redwood forests in CA, quaint coastal towns w/mom and pop pastry shops, Sea Lion Cave in OR, lighthouses, Tillamook cheese factory tour/tasting, the big bridge at Astoria OR, a great little greasy spoon in Forks WA, fresh fish dinner on the water at Port Townsend, WA.....ahhh.....

Longest for me was my wife's sister had their first child, her husband was stationed at Camp Lejeune on the North Carolina coast, we left Mobile and I drove the whole way up there. After arriving my and my kids drove across the state to Charlotte for a few days to tour all the NASCAR race shops, then we drove back got my wife and came home. I haven't taken many trips other than my twice a year pilmgramige to Talladega or the occasional trip to Atlanta. I've never left the South though, Wrigley Field is on my bucket list.

Just got back from going from Los Angeles to San Francisco (the 101/1 route, much longer than the 5). Longest I've done is Savannah, GA to Los Angeles, CA. Doing the same trip, but the other way in a couple weeks

Were just leaving for this trip now, but we are taking a detour to Kings Canyon park before we hit up SF. Coming back on Wednesday.
