Our last "road trip" was for the Fourth of July when we drove six hours to Wisconsin to stay at my cousin's cabin on some lake. Pretty fun trip, but man, I HATE driving long distances...even in a fuel efficient and comfortable vehicle.

I don't take long road trips (I get car sick) longest trip recently was like a 3 hour drive to San Antonio. I don't travel much.

Last: Phx AZ to Carlsbad CA and back.

Longest: Alexandria VA to Phx AZ. about 3 days. VA and WVA are beautiful, Kentuckys nice, Southern IL is filled with corn, OK has horrible roads, and Northern TX, and NM are barren desolate hell holes. Pro Tip: When driving thru Amarillo keep the windows rolled up.

My last trip was a 16 hour drive from a Chicago burb to Charleston SC, and this was a day after I got home from 11 drive from Chicago to New Jersey.
My longest was a 40 hour drive from Chicago to a town in Mexico.

12 hour drive from Charlotte to Chicago that I went on this summer. Well worth it though.

The longest road trip I've taken is also the last road trip I was on. Last spring break, 3 friends and I drove from Mn to Las Vegas. It took about 24 hours of straight driving. It was a ton of fun.

Why would anyone drive AWAY from Minnesota...it's great!

Going from San Diego to Kansas was the longest road trip I've been on.

I had a bunch of mini-road trips going to all the motocross tracks in Southern California, that was always a fun 2-4 hour drive.. 3 to 5 times a week
