Not nearly as much of a market for microbrews down south. I lived in Central Florida for a long time and the vast majority of folks down there drink that prohibition style American macro garbage 100% of the time.

It really sucks for guys like you and some of the other fellas that live down there that they can't find anywhere with a good selection of micros and imports. Situations like that make me wish that Budweiser bottles had a self-destruct mechanism instead of a born on date.

I'm in a good spot for microbrews. We get the small North Carolina breweries as well as most of the good ones from the northeast. I **** a brick when I saw Dogfish Head brews at the liquor store here. Kind of a like a mini-Christmas morning when you see Dogfish Head next to Chimay and Duck Rabbit on the shelf.

And that is just within a 2 mile radius of my house.
Do you know if anywhere around the Washington DC/Alexandria area would have them? My dad is up there right now and I might get him to bring some Dogfish home.

Which variant of it is good? I'm a college kid who drinks miller and only gets as exotic as Landshark lol. So I don't even know what I would like. Do they offer a variety pack?

        *Edit*

used the dogfish "fish finder" on their website. It's everywhere. Definitely gonna have to get some.

I had Crafstman 1903 Lager and Goose Island Matilda today. Pretty tasty. Not mindblowing but, good.

I'm going on a bachelor party today, we'll be at Troeg's and Appalachian Brewing Companies. Need to figure out what I want my growler filled with. Troegenator? Java Head? Decisions..

I'm from Germany, so i like Augustiner Beer from Munich.
                      similar to the Hofbräuhaus Beer.

Huge fan of German brews here.

Aventinus is one of my favorite beers in the world.

Took it blindly out of the variety pack I bought, like it even though I've never been much into wheat ales.

                              ^ Pretty boring stuff IMO.

Although I don't have much room to talk right now since I have been downing Sam Adams Cherry Wheat like crazy and it isn't exactly up to par with what I normally drink, quality wise.
