Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Yep, it's horrible. I've gained 40lb since August of 08, and I only really started drinking beer in the last year or so. Argh.Comment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
7 or 8 posts in a row and no talk of specific beers?? For shame...
There's a local place here that, in cooperation with another company, brews their own beer. One of them is a belgian white called Sun Sphere and it is amazing. Only 6.5% ABV so you can have quite a few in one sitting.Twitter

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Got into some more local micros this weekend... a pretty damn tasty IPA and Stout up in Nederland, CO at a place that also does some damn fine BBQ (think it's just called the Smokehouse Brewery)... both were very good.
The Black IPA at Strange Brewing Company is pretty unique and tasty, I'm a big fan of that one. Also I got 4 free beers at the park from some guy with 3 coolers worth that somehow didn't get consumed and he couldn't carry all of it ha... Blue Moon, so not a bad score ha. Wish I could've carried more.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Most people shouldn't just jump right into a Dogfish 90-Minute... definitely a "step up" scenario where you get used to more and more bitterness/hop flavor. Really you crave it haha, I've got the hop head BAD.
I'm a big fan of Odell's IPA, Lagunitas and GreenFlash are both pretty nice, so is Great Divide's Titan IPA. However, I really love a double IPA and Russian River's Pliny the Elder is my favorite beer in the universe... just absolutely perfect for me. On that tip, Avery's DuganA is real nice as well...Comment
