Peroni is good, but I don't care for Stella so much.

I want to try this Prima Pils I keep hearing so much about.

Peroni is a little too bland for me. Summer months I find myself drinking a lot of Sweetwater 420 or Lazy Magnolia's Indian Summer.

Really, any Sweetwater brew is good for the summer. Except maybe their Georgia Brown.

Sam Adams' Noble Pils is pretty delicious too. But yeah, Victory's Prima Pils is pretty much the standard for that style, everyone loves it.

That's also one I've heard about. The pilsners go so smoothly sometimes. It's not my favorite style but its pretty damn refreshing.

I can't stand Pilsners for the most part since they are so bland, but I can enjoy a Noble Pils any time.

I love the bottle but love the brew more. Fantastic and refreshing...

I enjoy Leinenkugels Summer Shandy and Sunset Wheat. I usually buy the Sampler pack with the Classic Amber and Honey Weiss.

That's my beer of choice on a hot, summer day. Especially if it is on tap and they pour it in a pitcher with a couple of fresh lemon wedges floating at the top.

My buddy's in NYC, Boston, Rhode Island, and Maine over the next couple days. Are there any beers that are pretty much exclusive to that market that I should have him bring me?

Couple Maine recommendations if he can hit them up: Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale, McGovern's Oatmeal Stout, Pemaquid Oyster Stout (Marshall Wharf Brewing Co.).

The Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale is amazing on a hot summer day. That is, if you like blueberries, as you can REALLY taste them here. The Oatmeal Stout is comparable to Samuel Smith IMO. The Oyster Stout is a VERY dark and heavy beer brewed with a dozen oysters. It sounds odd, but it's ridiculously good.

Hm, I don't know about the stouts (haven't gotten my palette to handle them just yet) but that blueberry ale sounds prettayyyy damn good. Looking them up on BA, is there much of a difference between "True Blue" Blueberry Ale and the regular Bar Harbor one?

I've actually never had the True Blue. Now that I know it exists, i'll have to keep an eye out. I love me some Blueberry Ale in the summer. Another good Maine Blueberry Ale that may be more readily available is Sea Dog Blue Paw Wheat Ale. You really can't go wrong with Blueberry Ale in Maine.

Another good brewery in Maine is Allagash. Pretty much anything they put out is good. I really like the White Ale.

Yep, lots of places have the Allagash on tap around here....it's delicious. Thanks for the suggestions, dude. Hope I could make it up there for a vacation one of these days. The food is calling me.

Still new to the North Cali area and so far I have had nothing but delicious beers. Still trying nothing but Cali beers... so if ya got some good one let me know and I will keep my eyes open for it.
