Hopslam is popping up here and there. But Surly Abrasive Ale has surpassed it in my book.

Finally got my hands on one of my faaavs...the Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale , It's just the perfect balance of hops,citrus,& toasted caramel malts. Peeps, THIS beer has got to be on your bucket list...fo sho

oh, & the Brooklyn Local 2 Belgian Strong Ale ain't bad either

Had Hottenroth from The Bruery on Sunday. Wow. What an interesting beer, if you can even call it that. It's only 3.1% alcohol. Crazy lemon presence, tasted like a liquid lemon sour patch kid.

Please don't base your opinion on IPA's from a Harpoon.

I know you didn't like it, but try a Dogfishhead before turning away from IPA;s forever.

It wasn't really the taste tho. It was more that it destroyed my insides. I'll look for a DogFishHead.

Another good one that will be more prominent in your area than DFH would be Victory Hop Devil since it's brewed in Philly, that should be almost everywhere there.

Unless you have a digestive issue, no beer should be doing anything like what you described unless its s bad batch.

Another good one that will be more prominent in your area than DFH would be Victory Hop Devil since it's brewed in Philly, that should be almost everywhere there.

I looked it up, and it seems that many people have the same issue I had with IPAs. I was exaggerating by saying it destroyed my insides. I just had some really bad, explosive, dia....ok I'll stop now.

As for the taste, it was....different. I don't know how to really describe it. I'm definitely going to try one that was suggested, but if it messes with my insides again, I might have to accept that I can't drink IPAs.
