If you can't find anything to draw from off their profiles then you'll just have to take your chance with whatever other method you use. Personally, I didn't message anyone if I didn't have any interest in anything on their profile.

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
Not really big into the whole Online Dating thing but I figured "What the hell" and created an account on OKC the other day and see how that works out.
So far, I've been getting a lot of visitors on my page(27 total since I created it on Friday), 3 people have "rated me highly" but I can't see who unless I pay(has anyone here actually done this?)sent out like 5-6 messages but only gotten 1 response back so far.
Any advice from ya'll that have done this?#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
There's a way to know who rated you highly.
Using the visitors list and seeing a bit of the list of people that rated you highly (unless this has changed) you can deduce who rated you highly.
I remember going back and rating the attractive ones highly and instant match.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

What are you saying in your messages?Comment

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
I don't think I ever actually got a response from someone who rated me highly. I think most people are just doing it like Hot or Not and going through it quickly without any thought.Comment

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
I've been mixing it up in some of my messages but the one I've used the most has been:
I could give you the generic/basic "Hey what's up" or "How are you?" or "Have we met before" lines but I'm sure your inbox is already filled with plenty of those messages so I'll switch it up for you...
Zero responses so far...#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
Never really messed with online dating much besides back in the AOL days of meeting girls. Tinder has been kindly since signing up last week, got my first meet up with some girl tomorrow night, texting 2 others around the clock.Comment
