Done and Done.
Cam, Im no expert, but I'd recommend you adding a little bit more to your answers there by being more specific.
From the unsolicited messages I've received, a lot of them mention the Lion King as I brought it up about 3 times in my profile. Theyve also brought up me training, hunger games, and even french fries.
By giving them specifics, you give them something to connect to you with.
And maybe throw in a joke or two. Show off your personality as much as you can. Even right now, I dont have a feel very much for who you are.
I have had lots of success on pof (i guess?? no relationship so far..but never friend zoned) My profile was always terrible though.. luckily i use my good looks and charm to reel them inbut anyways i switched up the pro with a combo of marino's and magic's and no word of lie I have ones messaging me that wouldn't respond to my messages no more then 3 months ago. Your profile is far more important then I would have ever thought...

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
TMagic, I'm assuming that LA and SF aren't exactly within appropriate driving distance(5 hours or less)and that's the hold up between you and that chick?
Did she send you anymore pictures other than that one though?#RespectTheCultureComment

They're 8 hours give or take, when you don't take crazy LA traffic (not quite as bad as DC traffic but choose, for east coast reference) into account.badComment

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
I didn't think writing messages was hard, but for some people it really must be difficult. One of my most recent messages was this:
Hey I was reading your profile and you seem like an awesome person.
And princess bride is the best.
Then of course the "hey, how are you" messages are always fun.

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
I feel like when I put too much thought into a message the girl doesn't respond.
I've literally gotten like 40-50 messages sent to me containing the following content:
1. Are you real?
2. Wow, you are gorgeous.
3. How are you single?
But then, I put thought into a message to girls that are definitely in my league, and that are high match percentages, but then get no response. I don't understand lolCubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
The few times I've tried online dating, it never amounts to anything. You take the time to actually write something relevant and start a conversation, they don't respond, no matter how much you may have in common or how well a match you are. Then if you just write something short and simple to start a convo, they don't respond either. Every time I've tried it, within a couple weeks, I've met someone offline so I didn't need it afterwards. Never had any serious relationships out of it, but still friends with a few girls.Comment
