Really though if you are out kicking your coverage don't let her know that. Just do as your normally would with any other chick.Last edited by SuperBowlNachos; 02-11-2014, 12:43 AM.Comment

Confidence is key. Don't let her know that she is out of your league.

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
I met a girl on POF back in September, and we've been talking since then. We're actually meeting in person for the first time on Tuesday, although it feels like we already know each other. We're friends on Facebook and follow each other on Twitter, so you could say it's getting pretty serious.Boston Red Sox

Seems like a long time to finally meet but glad it's happening. Hopefully it works out for you two.

Thanks! She lives in Amarillo, and our schedules just never work out to meet. But she's coming to Lubbock for the Kansas-Tech basketball game, so we decided to go together.Boston Red Sox

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
Has anybody actually become friends with a girl you met through online dating? As in the romantic part wasn't gonna pan out but a friendship did (or could)?
I took this girl out over the weekend and we had a great time (we did a brewery tour which was awesome). After I dropped her off we were texting and she mentioned that she didn't really think the dating part would work for us but she liked me and could see us being friends. I have no problem with that since she was cool and I want to expand my social circle but I'm curious if this is a common thing.

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
I had one of those. We talked online for quite a while, I think over a year and she was only 30 minutes away. I just wasn't into her that way, she became more of a sister type for me. We never went on dates but would meet with friends hang out and have fun. She got drunk the one time and asked me to have sex with her and I was like no, but my friend will. And he did lol
I moved out of state and so did she. Now we are both married with kids, friends through Facebook but I have not seen her for 6 years or so.PS4 Username: grismosw7Comment

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
So I've been talking to this girl on POF the last couple of days and wanted to ask a serious question regarding a sensitive subject. Dating someone with a chronic illness, more specifically type 1 diabetes.
I'm perfectly healthy as is everyone in my family and I've never known anyone personally that has a chronic illness, thus I don't have much knowledge when it comes to the subject. The girl that I've been talking to has Type 1 Diabetes. My question or questions would be has anyone dated or is currently married to someone who has diabetes? We have only been talking for a short while like I mentioned so as far as I know these chats we are having could go nowhere but I thought I'd get some opinions from you guys just in case we end up meeting up somewhere. We are both 21 years old.
How have you dealt with someone who has had some form of diabetes? I'm not scared of someone having a chronic illness, just never dealt with someone who has one. Any opinions would be appreciated.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Anyone try online dating sites?
Calling Type 1 Diabetes a chronic illness seems a bit odd to me.
One of my friends from high school (and I guess we were considered 'dating' back at that time, all things said and done) had it. She lived a perfectly normal life like any other high schooler, she just had her insulin pump on her belt.
It's not a big deal, and I'm sure she knows her limits on everything considering she lives with it.badComment
