I was in Augsburg. Believe it or not I still have a one of those cheap silk screen T-Shirts with the emblem on it.

LOL!! I loved Augsburg. I used to take a train from Stuttgart to Munich. I used to hop off in Augsburg to get Schnitzel and an Alligator(Bock Beer) at the Konig von Flandern on Karolinenstrasse. That place was the sh!t!!!

YES INDEEDY. Man the beer, THE BEER!!!! Don't know if you did any clubbing back then but do you recall a club called "Rock Frabrique"? Might have spelled it wrong. Man the tail, THE TAIL!!! Being from New York I wasn't overly impressed with Munich though. I'm trying to recall where it was I went skiing there. For the first and last time I did all my skiing in Germany..

I was there in the 80's. I clubbed like a caveman. If that club was near the University yes!!! AZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For days. The only thing I liked about Munich was the Redlig.....nevermind.

Was in the Air Force from 96-01 and got out two weeks before the world trade. My regular job was in medical supply but spent a year and a half being in the Honor Guard. My best assignment was Macdill AFB in Tampa Florida but also got to go to bases in Texas, Italy, and spent my last year at Yokota AB Japan.

USMC for a year now, still got a ways on my contract...

0311, did Boot/SoI West Coast. Got screened and (voluntold) selected to come to Marine Barracks Washington 8th & I. Got here in November, did Silent Drill School but tore my rotator cuff in the process. Dropped to a regular marching platoon because I was unable to finish the school (I can do a few pretty twirls though, haha.)

Made it to a few funerals before they decided to drop me from marching after I had my surgery. Currently serving as the Batallion Training NCO here, for what will probably be a long time.

By the way, I have learned a bunch of grunts doing paperwork all day leads to interesting results.

And I'm a PFC still. FML.

ROTFLMAO man you almost made me spit on my screen. Were they parked in cars on the road when you were there? I was surprised when my friend took me out "hunting". Window shopping, in the cars, man those were good times. We even.... now this one I REALLY got to keep to myself.

Oh and, cause I just read my other post over, I didn't do any skiing in Munich, I meant in Germany. I don't think there's anywhere you can do that in Munich. Went to some town that had the REAL old school german look and went skiing there.

Well, I never did earn my title, but I was in the DEP for the USMC for the maximum of one year and then shipped off to MCRDSD.

About 3 weeks in I had an asthma attack, got sent to Balboa Hospital, and then got shipped back home.

Major props to all of you guys though. It's not an easy lifestyle, but thank God there are some who can hack it.

The honor would be all mine. I would love too. I'll take you up on that. When I lived in Columbus Ohio I talked a friend of mine into letting the SCAT team use his box truck to make drug buys. We had two empty Maytag boxes hanging from a loadlock with the back door open. Behind the boxes was a picnic table,plastic cuffs and 12 officers. They hooked up a two way in the cab and as soon as a buy went down they pounced. We had a blast.

Over 35 arrests in 7 hours. Good times. Frustrating work. Most of the idiots were multiple offenders.

Dinner will be on me!
