I am German and do not sympathize with the Nazis.

If you lived in Germany from the 10s to the 40s, I'd consider you a punk.

England, Italy, Japan, USA? All did bad things as country.

I'd consider the Japanese during the 30s and 40s punks. I'd consider slave owners, the people who exterminated the native Americans, and segregationists punks.

If it wasn't for a lot of Germans helping the Allies they would have had a hell of a time winning the war.

If it wasn't for an exponentially higher number of Germans invading other countries, raping, and murdering people based on race, and stealing money and possessions, there wouldn't have been a war.

The Soviet Union would have steamrolled Germany at the end regardless of a handful of Germans helping anyone.

You would be pretty shocked to see what they have done over time.

Not really. I know that people have done a lot of wrong things. The Germans are the most recent and nobody appears to be up in arms that the victims of other civilizations didn't want to give their aggressors hugs.

The three worst things to happen to Europe in the last several hundred years are directly traceable to Germany. I have never met anyone who was affected by the Babylonians.

There was no other time the Nazi's had power prior to Hitler forcing himself into the Chancellor seat. The Nazi's only held 36% of the Reichstagg seats before it was dissolved and Hitler never received much more than a third of the votes for President. Germany never elected the Nazi's into power. And those brave enough to publicly oppose the Nazi's after '32/'33 disapearred.

Obviously I'm not going to change your mind, but I never thought I'd talk to someone as well versed in history as you say all German citizens were punks and the women were hoes.

So as of 1932, only 36% of Germans were bat**** insane.

After 7 years, there was clearly more than 36% of the population engaging in acts that were off the charts terrible. All they had to do was not invade a dozen countries and murder about 15-20 million civilians. Had they done that, I wouldn't consider them punks. But when people not only buy into Hitler's nonsense but act on it, they venture into punk territory.
