The bakery in France is off the wall.

We had lunch at Le Cellier in Canada, a damn good steak.

Best part is drinking country to country if that's your thing.

I cooked oven roasted broccoli tonight. Love that stuff. Steamed broccoli is good, but oven roasted is ridiculous.

        -Broccoli
-Salt & Pepper to lightly season
        -Preheat oven to 400
        -Bake broccoli for 40 minutes
-Spritz with lemon juice right after you take it out of the oven

I've never really eaten in Disney a lot since it was always so expensive, but with my step dad working in one of their call offices he gets free meal vouchers and discounts. Realizing some of that food is worth the $$ if you find the right spots.

At Disneyland, we got food in the back, behind Thunder Mountain. It was all-you-can-eat, and it was barbecue chicken, ribs, pork I think, potato salad, etc. It was a little pricey, but soooo good.

My dad works in a meat department, may have to get me some deals.

Also what are some cheap healthy snacks that are quick.

My family always gets the Deluxe Dining plan which is 3 sit down meals a day and 2 snacks.

With the sit down meals you get App/Entree/Dessert

It's a ton of food, but damn is it good. Had perhaps one of the best meals I ever had anywhere at Disney at the California Grill.

Made buffalo steak tonight. Marinated it for about 4 hours or so in beer, with garlic salt, tomato & basil Ms. Dash, and cayenne pepper on it. Pan fried it, threw some onions (seasoned with cayenne and garlic salt) in there with it. Man, I love buffalo.

Yeah we've done that a few times, a lot of food and can try a lot of different food.

Family has always been low in the $$ department so we keep it classic with whatever cheap steaks we find, but I do love some pan fried steaks with some onions in it. If done right the onions taste freaking awesome, especially if just a little bit of butter is thrown in

Grilled some corn on the cob with a lime-ginger zest glaze. I didn't have any lime zest so I substituted a little bit of lime juice. Pretty simple to do, but god was the corn delicious.

I also made some "red eye" bbq sauce from the weber recipe book. Very good, too. I couldn't find shallot so I used onion instead.

In the process of making a sweet corn panna cotta. My fiance bought some sweet corn from a local farm today, so I wanna try something new. Gotta admit I stole the idea from an episode of Master Chef where they had to make a corn dessert.

How's it taste? I admittedly haven't done much in the way of trying new things. I've made corn salsa with grilled chicken about 3-4 times already since I tried that recipe about 6-8 weeks ago. Mostly just been grilling chicken with different seasonings and marinades and doing random stuff with the leftovers. Last night I used about 3-4oz of an herb and garlic marinaded chicken breast with Alfredo sauce that I doctored up with diced tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, and parm. cheese. I served it over whole grain spaghetti (didn't have any whole grain fetticini) in my attempt to eat healthier. Whole grain really doesn't taste bad. Its definitely different - not nearly as heavy and the taste isn't as overwhelming as regular pasta, which is good because I'd rather taste the sauce anyway.

I also bought bran cereal and cottage cheese for the first time. Bran cereal looks liked dried cat food. I mixed 1/2 cup of the bran cereal with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and some diced strawberries. For my first time trying both I was actually surprised as neither food looks like it should be eaten. I tried eating some greek yogurt last night with some strawberries mixed in - I couldn't bring myself to eat more than 3 or 4 bites. I just didn't like the taste of the greek yogurt.

Greek yogurt: Brand matters, a lot. The Chobani I really like a lot (especially pineapple), the Yoplait was horrible as was the Dannon.

I'm a cottage cheese fan, but cottage cheese and bran cereal sounds awful. I know some people like cottage cheese with fruit, but I've always eaten it as a more savory thing. Little salt and pepper, some Lowery's seasoned salt, or my new thing, BBQ rub. I used to think brand didn't matter but recently bought Daisy, who makes kickass sour cream so I figured their cottage cheese would be good, and it was ****ing awful.
