Stay away from GNC. Their prices are absurd. Try a1supplements.com

Or wholesalesupplementstore.com. Don't forgot to google a free shipping coupon code either.

Good call. I was wondering what the benefit to the online stores were because with shipping most add up to the same cost of buying from the Vitamin Shoppe.

Week 1 is pretty much done. I just have Yoga tomorrow and I'll have done every workout. I don't have time for Yoga during the week so swapped it with Kenpo.

I had trouble with a lot of the exercises but was able to modify most of them so I was still getting a good workout. This program is humbling. Made me realize how poor my balance, coordination and flexibility is.

I think next week will be much better now that I've figured things out a little bit.

Yeah it does get easier. I too thought i was in relatively good shape (i was delusional i think) before starting but this program showed me just how far below being good shape i had fallen.

I'm loving the phase 2 workouts so far and I have 1 more workout to finish up week 1 of phase 2. The phase 2 workouts have very little repitition and have different exercises the whole way through the workout which makes the time go by quicker imo and provides more variety. My weight loss seems to have stabilised but i'm still getting stronger, feeling better and looking better according to the Mrs so it's all good.

I just did Kempo X and its my favorite exercise. Time just fly's by with the variety of exercises you do and I find it fun also.

I love Tony's line at the end though..."Here at P90X we do actual DNA removal (pause)..it comes out all over the place."

LOL, I have a dirty mind because I always laugh at that part.

LOL, there are some funny lines in there like,

On Kenpo X, at the third break, he says, "I'm jacking and moving."

I'm not sure if the schedule of the workouts are that well thoughout in the 2nd phase. They have you doing back on wednesday then back again on friday.

6 weeks in and my wife is now able to do real pushups after being unable to do 1 properly when we started, she's have some pretty impressive progress in all areas.

I'm excited to start day 1 again tomorrow Jonesy.

I've started this thing 3 times already and the longest I made it was a week before my life got completely off track. See what I did there, I blamed my life interruptions instead of taking the blame myself. It helps me sleep at night. But seriously, it's time to get off my rump and do this for 90 days straight.

Good man! It really bloody works if you stick with it. I've seen more progress in 6 weeks of p90x then i had in years at the gym. I think because it's more focused and i don't allow myself to slacken off like i do with the gym really helwps. Good luck with it mate.

You really have to make this a prioirty in your life for it work properly imo. I'm branch manager for a company that i took over for 6 months ago (long hours, steep learning curve), have 9 visiting sites at other towns that are all between 2 - 4 hours drive away and that mean i spend at least 7 nights a month in motel's, have a 14 month old girl and a wife who works full time who i want to spend as much time as possible with and we still both find the time to workout 6 days per week. Sure we have to get up at 4.50am to do it but if that's what it takes then it's totally worth it.

I've been doing P90X since last June and I still haven't done the Kenpo workout a single time. I always play basketball on the weekends so that replaces the Kenpo. Glad to hear some positive thoughts on it though, I'll have to try it.

Okay, so today's the day. I'm ready to start P90x Classic Version. I put the resistance bands on the doorway and immediately feel like these things are gonna break, I just know it. Well, I start off and do the first minute of push-ups and then it's pull up time. Sure enough, I pull the resistance bands and SNAP, right off the bat.

I could feel it instantly as soon as I pulled on the things barely that they weren't gonna hold up. I'm in an apt where a pull-up bar is completely out of the question. Am I screwed?

I'm frustrated, today was the day to turn over a new leaf.

What resistance bands did you buy? I got a set that are holding up pretty well. I'm not sure it's enough resistance though so I'm going to grab a pullup bar and do the assisted version.

No. If you have a barbell or dumb bells you can do bent over rows for your back at home. Just make sure to use proper form.

Kempo is a really good exercise. I just never get bored doing it and that hour of doing it goes by fast. I do it to replace yoga and also do it on Saturdays or I will just run or play racquetball or something.

The only down side to Kempo X is it is easy to be lazy while doing it. For example when your doing the punches its easy to just punch and not move your whole body but Tony stresses to move your hips and put your whole body into the punch which helps burn more calories. I have caught myself not moving my whole body sometimes.
