Here's another one of my yellow lab/border collie mix. He turns 6 tomorrow!

The fiance sent me this one to cheer me up at work. I think she had a treat in her hand. I know this because I pretty much have the same reaction (standing on the couch with excitement) when she announces we're having burgers for dinner!

It's a father-like-son thing. Happy birthday buddy!

The wife and I will be getting a Siberian husky puppy, hasn't even been born yet, we've already decided to name him Archer though n

There was one at the pound when we went last Fall. She was beautiful. I wish we had a yard for her, though.

Still working with Howie and his diving for toys. He now does it off the diving board. This pic of him cracks me up!

Here's a video of him in motion diving, he can do about 10 underwater dives or so before he's worn out! Then he just wants the frisbee thrown in the pool and he'll jump off the diving board and swim out to it and get it.

Anyone have experience with Boston Terriers or Beagles? Looking to have a bred dog and those came up as opportunities just recently. Both breeds are stinking cute so I'm trying to decide which way to go.

Yeah man, Boston Terriers are awesome. Full of personality and very smart. I have two, a 7 year old boy (Howie) and a 8 year old girl (Miley). I'm always amazed at how smart they are. They are goofy and have lots of energy which is why we started training them immediately, around 8-10 weeks. Definitely inside dogs though because they can tend to get over heated especially if they have flat noises like Howie (pictured a couple posts above). They will play so hard with you but then at night curl up and watch TV with you. My pups are pretty fearless, they jump through the waves at the beach, leaping frisbee catches, dive off the diving board into the pool, all kinds of stuff. We take our everywhere, to the beach, the mountains, ballgames, etc. Definitely a family dog.

Pretty sure I shared this a few years ago in this thread, but I'm always wanting to brag on my dogs. Miley and I used to do agility competitions together to which she became a Master Agility Champion. Here's a vid of the runs that earned her the title. If you watch the vid, be sure to watch to the end so you can see the celebratory victory lap we get to do when finally earning the title.

Howie just recently started impressing us with his athletic skill like the vid posted last week of him diving underwater. When he was younger, he was pretty much known just for being so cute....

My wife made our pups some dogs beds out of old dresser drawers that someone was going to throw away.
