Spider in my bed
So I'm getting ready to go to bed, and I move the clothes off my bed and theres a brown spider, maybe wolf? Right there on my shirt. I don't scare easily, but when you invade my bed it startles me a bit. I'm beginning to hate spiders, they seem to always be wandering around where I don't want them. Anyone else have some spider stories?Tags: None -
Re: Spider in my bed
Well, the most recent one I have is that I was watching Darker than Black on my computer with the lights out around midnight when I see something running down the side of the wall on the corner of my eye. I stopped to see what it was so I turned on the lights to investigate... it was a damn spider no smaller than 2 and half inches.
I decided to try to get it to move behind my wooden blind/shutters on the window near my computer so I can trap it there, but the sucker jumped down onto the floor behind my desk. So I'm there standing on my chair while my cat is looking at me like "WTF are you high?" I keep the lights on and I resume watching the anime for about ten minutes until I saw it start running up on the wall behind my computer up to the ceiling.
It lingered there for about five minutes, then it started walking on the ceiling slowly, towards me at first, then decided to walk to the spot above my cat. I was able to get my cat to move out of the way before the spider could drop down. It finally dropped down near my TV and PS3. We had some ants in the house at the time and the spider was just chilling there until some dumb ant decided to tap its leg. The spider freaked out and ran into my bookcase, where I was finally able to trap (and perhaps crush it, although I have never checked since) with my textbooks there. -

Re: Spider in my bed
Simple, I squatted on my chair a good three or four feet from my desk with one of my baseball bats nearby, so if it was running on the floor, it'd be good as dead. However, if it was on the desk that would've been a different story.Comment

If I found a spider in my bed i'd be so frightened my hair would turn white. That's one thing that would freak me out for days on end.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Spider in my bed
How did you resume the anime knowing the mother****er was still creeping just a few feet from you? I would have done this:

Re: Spider in my bed
i wanted to...but my wife and i decided that we'd lose our rear-ends on our house (we owe a ton more on our mortgage than the property is valued at). nearly went to pittsburgh a few weeks ago but the salary package wasn't close... i was a bit bummed out by that.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: Spider in my bed
I know this sounds lame, but I honestly throw up when a spider touches me. I was under my deck helping my dad and I walked right into a spider web and I saw the spider on my arm and I literally threw up. How lame is that? haha But if I just see a spider I just kill it and go on but if it touches me, I freak like a five year old girl haha.MCRD October 29. Oh Rah!
