Re: Spider in my bed
I saw a spider on my balcony last week... went to get a shoe to kill it and it was gone. I haven't stepped foot out there since and haven't slept well because I keep thinking it got into my apartment somehowComment

Re: Spider in my bed
Saw this Time news story on a new species of spiders discovered and decided to copy the link as I knew we had a spider thread here at OS!
Oh yeah, this one is the size of your face and is fast and venomous!
A quote from the article...................
"Now imagine one the size of a volleyball landing on you like one of the facehuggers from Alien."

http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/04/04/oh-good-face-sized-tarantulas-discovered-in-sri-lanka/?hpt=hp_t5The words "spider" and "face-sized" should probably never be used in a sentence together.Last edited by opd897; 04-05-2013, 03:31 PM.Originally posted by ImTellinTimIf I lived in Waco, I would find you and kick you right in the nuts.Comment

Re: Spider in my bed
I remember reading somewhere that on average a person swallows a spider once a year in their sleep. I don't know how this could actually be tracked, but it's possible considering the mouth is a great habitat for Mr. Spider.
Sweet dreams!Comment

Re: Spider in my bed
My house in Mississippi has a spider problem I guess. I dont know what kind of spiders they are but they are big and freak me the **** out. One time I killed one and it had a bunch of babies go crawling everywhere.
I will say dont google Spiny-Backed Orb Weaver Spiders

Re: Spider in my bed
According to Wikipedia, we don't have to worry about them in our states. They must hate cold weather. Also weird, they apparently live everywhere south of the UK except Saudi Arabia for whatever reason.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: Spider in my bed
I still hate spiders, but now I'm moreso on the lookout for all the poisonous snakes around here. I've came across two water moccasins in the last few months at work. Most recently on Tuesday(almost ****ing stepped on it). Along with a pigmy rattlesnake, but people here tell me those don't have enough venom that'll do anything severe.
Oh and the alligators, of course.Last edited by z Revis; 04-06-2013, 04:01 PM.Indianapolis Colts
