Oh man, the first time I dunked...it was great. It was after the dunk contest when Cedric Ceballos went blindfolded. My 2 cousins and I went down to the local court and said we weren't going to leave until one of us dunked. I might have been 13-14.
We were there for about 2 hours playing 21 and trying to dunk and finally after a lot of tries I was the first to succeed. I couldn't do a running dunk off one leg, but I could do a standing dunk off of two legs. After a while I finally got it down being able to run and dunk and for a long time I was the only one of us who could.
The first time I dunked in a game was at the same court and we were playing under the streetlights. There was this tall dude we called Dike who was on the other team and because he was so tall, dunking wasn't a problem for him. He'd dunk and just talk **** about it.
I got a long rebound and started going the other way with it but he was right with me and had the angle. We both jumped and he actually got a lot higher than me. He should've blocked it but somehow he overshot me and I got it, it still counted as a "dunked on him" to me. I talked so much isht to Dike that night. I never dunked on him again but he wouldn't forget that time. To hear me tell it back then I straight yanked on that fool, but it was pretty much your standard plain one handed dunk, not even a lot of kock back.
