Re: Any paranormal things you believe in?

I can't remember the entire story, but I recently had a co-worker (whom I trust) tell me that his house is haunted by a little kid. I believe he has seen him a time or two, but he doesn't try and talk to him. He lives in an older house, and just like the movie plot goes, the kid died some how.

Anyway, he was telling me this story, and of course I always get skeptical of this stuff. But like I said, he's a guy I trust and not one that would just make up foolish stories.

He said one night, he put out some flour or sugar on his hardwood floor. His goal was to see if he could get some footprints of the kid. He told me didn't know why he thought of this, but he did.

Sure enough, in the morning, there were footprints there that looked to belong to either a late toddler or very early teenager or so. He sent me the pictures in a text, and while they're kind of hard to see, you can definitely see the imprint of a heel.

Another quick story... One of my best friends from high school was a pretty tough guy... He was around 6'5" and weighed 250 pounds or so, and nothing ever scared him. This guy would pick a fight with a meth head on steroids if the opportunity presented itself. He went on to play football at Washington (defensive line) and made a few practice squads in the NFL... Just a tough cat who doesn't get scared of much.

In high school, he was spending the night at my house, and he told me a story about a night he was sleeping in his room. He lived in an old farm house that his family had owned for a while, but really, this house was probably built in the 1940's or 1950's. Anyway, he was sleeping one night, and he told me that something jolted him awake. He looked in the door way of his room, and he saw a little kid, who was probably no older than 10-years-old. Immediately, he shut his eyes and thought, "No way. No way, go back to sleep."

So he closed his eyes, and opened them again a few seconds later. This time, the boy was literally alleviating over him as he lay in his bed, and he said something to the effect of, "Get me outta this ******* place!"

Pretty crazy stuff. You hear these stories, and there are many, and you just have a hard time believing that people can make this stuff up.

They're definitely out there... WAY too many eye witness accounts to believe otherwise.

After College I rented an apartment while I went back to grad school and worked during the days. It wasn't even that old of a building. Anyway, I always had a feeling like I was being watched. I kept hearing something whisper my name while I was there. I didn't tell anyone because I was working 45 hours and had 9 graduate credits and figured it was just me being overtired.

Anyway, I got a new job half way through the lease and had to move out. Luckily I had a friend that sub rented from me. We got together a few months later and he didn't want to renew the lease. He told me that something in the closet was whispering his name at night and while he was sleeping something put their hand over his mouth and nose and tried to suffocate him.

I'm not convinced that I wasn't just overtired, but I never told anyone until my friend mentioned his experience.

Hey speaking of 12/21/12. Anybody else been seeing 11:11? I have been, and after researching it on the internet a whole bunch of other people have. I've also have been seeing 333, 666, etc. a lot. They are all significant numbers in numerology which is a form of divination. Divination is highly condemned by the Bible. I have studied the occult extensively after experiencing some of the strange things that I have experienced. I believe that demons are heavily at work in occult practices. An interesting video to watch on youtube is Nazis and the occult.

I think an alien mothership or something just flew over my house. Really loud and didn't sound like a plane. Heard some strange noise outside immediately following.

              No Joke.

Some of the things that I have experienced I guess depends upon if you just believe in coincidence, or not. I don't believe coincidence. I believe everything happens for a reason. Some of it is the result of our actions, and some of it is our destiny.

Another example that happened to me today. A friends name entered my mind seconds before I saw them. Coincidence?

Or you could watch Hellboy, as that was how he was summoned.

Me, life has to exist outside of our planet. But ghosts? Spirits? Angels and demons? Vampires? That's all nonsense.

Re: Any paranormal things you believe in?

I had told this story on twitter about 2 weeks ago.

I took my dog outside at about 3 am. After about a minute I caught something out of the corner of my eye, I looked up and to my right and I saw a solid green orb coming down at about a 45 degree angle. If I had to guess I would say it was about 700-1000 feet away. From my vantage point it looked to be a little smaller than one of those little mini cars.

Let me stress that this object was solid green. It did not flash, strobe, blink or whatever. There was also no trail. It almost seed like it was under control. It seemed like it was gliding downward not falling.

It then disappeared into the woods. I wish I could have gone after it.

I just want to say that I am not saying it was an alien craft or for certain that it was under intelligent control. I am just saying what I saw.

Now, I suppose if they can come to us and leave as they please, then yes, they are probably further along in their life progress. However, if they are visiting us, why is it that they are too dumb to surpass all of those (ie. government) that try and hide it? Why not show up and not move until the word adequately gets out.

The other paranormal interest is often ghosts. Why is it that ghosts do mysterious things? Many ghost stories are small things about a ghost that knocks on a wall 3 times, only between 12 and 3 am. If something was trying to communicate, why not show up when we are all sitting around the table and be upfront about it. Don't move a salt shaker. Do something with more depth.

Could it be that these sightings of ghosts and aliens are secretive simply because they really aren't happening and so to keep the "truth" out there would require us to always present it as an unsolved mystery?

Still, I believe in ET life. I believe in evil spirits and demons. I believe in angels. I think for us to sit back and consider this entire universe, then claim we are the only life, would be silly.
As for why they dont surpass those that try to hide it, I would assume they dont want to be noticed. You could come up with any number of theories why (Ancient Aliens does that) but I would assume the old saying of "youre human, you are going to make mistakes" would apply to aliens as well. That could easily explain crashes like Roswell. The other sightings could be tests and experiments to see how the human population handles the situation. If you believe aliens could have been around all through history, then think about how fast and how sudden we advanced to the technology we have now. That would be far more interesting to monitor than just outright contact. Again if you believe they were around through history, they may have made contact already in the past (again Ancient Alien show) and want to just sit back and see what happens.

I look at it this way. If we ever developed the technology and were able to travel to random planets, what would we do if we found life. I feel would monitor for an extensive period of time, have mistakes and crash, and overall gain as much knowledge as possible before making contact. Depending on where the life forms were in development, we may try to assist them along through either direct or indirect methods. So many possibilities that Ill just stop now.
