I did have something unexplainable happen once. Me and a group of guys from my baseball team (we were about 14-15 years old) were over one of the parents houses hanging out after a game. They lived out in a more country setting, on a long dead end road. At the end of this road were the woods. We were all out at the end of the driveway goofing around as it got dark. We decided it would be a good idea to see how far we could go down the road toward the dead end before we got too freaked out because it was pitch dark and you could barely see your hand in front of your face. All of us at the same time see this light which looked like it could have been a lantern or one of those lights people put on the front of bikes. It looked to be about 5 ft off the ground. So being typical teenagers we start yelling at "whoever" is holding the light. It would just come toward us then back away. We are all just looking at one another trying to get one of us to go down to where the light was. That's when the light went about 20 ft in the air and then back into the woods and disapeared. I still wonder what the hell that was 17 years later.

I had something little odd happen this weekend.

I was in my man cave playing some NCAA 13 and my fiancee was cleaning the kitchen. She then says "Babe, can you come see". So I pause game and walk over and she is standing in the hall and points to our bedroom and says "Look".

In the middle of the doorway was a pair of shoes positioned as if someone was walking in them and they just came out of them. It looked so strange and just oddly out of place.

So she says "Did you put those there???". So being a smart ***, I said yea I was walking around in your shoes! She was kind of thrown off by it and kept saying those were in the closest, I have not wore those shoes in over a year.

Anyway, no idea what to make of it, but it was odd.

They were positioned something like this.

Was there a swamp or marsh nearby in those woods? Sometimes those types of phenomena can be attributed to swamp gas.

Yes. I know for a fact the spirit world is definitely at work around us! I believe in Jesus Christ, and have without question had my prayers answered. I have never seen a ghost, or spirit, but I have sensed a presence multiple times at different locations over the past 3 years. I also have had experiences of strong intuition, or gut instinct over the years about people, and places that proved true. I have had people out of the blue say things to me about future events that there is no way they could have had previous knowledge of what was going to happen. I have always prayed for wisdom, and guidance so maybe that is the reason why I have the experiences I have. There is also a very strong cherokee indian bloodline in my family so maybe that has something to do with it too. Who knows. A lot of people in my family have experienced strange things over the years.

One other thing. I noticed that some one posted above about seeing shadow people. I know several people that have claimed to have seen them. One guy I work with who was in the Navy claimed that while he was living in Norfolk, Virginia he saw one, and it said some thing to him in a language he could not understand. It happened to him years ago, but he said it scared him to death. He also said that his grandmother was into wicca, and wondered if that might had something to do with him seeing it.

Not that I know of. But I can't say that there wasn't.

Re: Any paranormal things you believe in?

When I was younger, living in the Philippines, my nanny told us the story of one late night (she would sleep in the living room, which was in vicinity of the bathroom) she woke up to hear someone walking down the stairs. She thought it was my mom, so she asked "Joy, why are you up so late?" but no response. After about 10 minutes of not seeing my mom leave the bathroom, she goes to check to make sure she's ok.. When she opens the door, it was empty. From there on, she has told us that she saw what we call a "White Lady"

What's even stranger is that we owned the house, but soon after moving to the US, we gave it to my Uncle to live in. Well about 10 years later, my grandma had passed away. We all traveled back to the Philippines for her funeral. The last night of her wake, most of my cousins and I slept over my uncle's house (the same house we lived in when we were younger) we were all kinda scared, but joking that there was a ghost in the house (Philippines are notorious for ghost stories) As we all started falling asleep, I turned off the lights. My female cousin, yells out, with the lights closed, JRay stop touching my feet!

I jumped out of bed, turned on the lights, and told her it wasn't me! We both gave the look of being scared, but shrugged it off to being some sort of bug that landed on her feet. 10 minutes later after I turned off the lights again, I felt like someone took their hand and was softly rubbing it against my cheek. I freaked out.. Not knowing what it might be, and I closed my eyes and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning, my cousin and I both told our parents and they said it was our grandma saying goodbye to us. My grandma would always buy my cousin shoes, and she would also pinch or rub my cheek whenever she saw us.

I was scared, but at the same time happy it was my grandma just saying good bye.

Yea Mo, it was pretty odd. I never get scared of these type of things. Now with that said, I had a moment in high school that literally scared me to the point I left the house. I will type it out when I get some time, im swamped at work right now. Lets just say, I fully believe in ghost, my mom, and my step dad who is a complete atheist now believes in the after life.

I believe in spirits both good and bad. I have rosary beads with holy water from the Vatican on my bed post ,which Is above my head when I sleep. I've had dreams in the past where I was visited by my Dead Aunt and we would just talk and have regular conversations. Towards the end of the dream she would say "time to wake up" and I would. I'd like to believe that she is actually visiting me. So In some ways yes.

Another friend of mine whose grandmother was involved in wicca, and looked like a full blooded indian let her, and the other grand kids play with a ouija board. My friend said one time the couch moved in the room for no apparent reason while playing with the board. No way I would ever mess with an ouija board! She also claims that one of her daughters has seen the grandmother at her old home place, and the grandmother has visited her daughter in her dreams. My friend also seems to be in touch with her intuition like I am, and we both look like indians. LOL

I have experienced so much I could probably write a book about it. I'll add things as I have time. No question I have been receiving help my entire life. Interesting thing I read recently was that a lot of people that went to work on 9-11 at the WTC experienced real negative feelings on their way to work that day, or had previous knowledge that something big was going to comedown!

Aliens 100% space never ends for 1, Earth cant be the only planet with living things on it. I also believe the government are keeping things that they found about space from the public to maybe keep us sane, maybe.

Anyone thing there is an actual Area 51 base hidden from the public?

Oh Area 51 is real, there's no question about that. The question is what went on and may still go on within it.

I like to think that Area 51 is just your typical secret government base. They may develop their top secret military projects there and use the alien story to keep people distracted.

Or maybe they use Area 51 to distract people away form the real secret government stuff in some other remote part of the country. Either way, I think the alien stories are just a cover.

As for aliens and spirits, I believe there is a strong chance that both of them exist. I believe that spirits are more likely than aliens though. It is foolish to think they there is absolutely no possibility that either of them exist. There are many stories reflecting the existence of both, but I know I have never experienced either of them.

As for basic paranormal stuff, I did have a dream the night before the ND/USC game that the Irish would be #1 and they were going to the National Championship.

I also routinely think about things before they happen later in the day. Such as a song popping into my head and them getting in the car and that song comes on. Although I'm not sure if that is me or just the predictability of the radio.

Another coincidence came during my freshman year of college. I was in the 2010-2011 off season in MLB 10 The Show with my Cardinals franchise and I needed to pick up another big bat. I signed Vladimir Guerrero and Lance Berkman and tried them out during Spring Training. I kept Berkman and put him in the outfield. A few weeks later, the Cardinals signed Berkman in real life.

Finally, that same year, I thought to myself that there is absolutly no reason the Cardinals couldn't be in the World Series that year. I told my old roommate this, (he'll tell you the same thing) and he agreed with me, but the didn't think it would happen. Later that season, I also KNEW the Cardinals were going to come back and get into the playoffs that year. I kept counting the games and telling my old roommate that it would happen. He said it wouldn't. Well, look what happened. I had that same feeling when the Steelers made the playoffs in 2005 and 2008, but I did not feel like they would beat the Packers in 2011.
