      Re: Ketchup

      I know a girl who has one of those strange phobia's where she is literally deathly afraid of Ketchup. Like will crumple in a ball crying if it even gets near her. Funny thing is she is a nurse and blood does not bother her.

      Reason i brought this up though. We were all out eating hibachi grill and not sure if you guys have experienced this. The Hibachi chefs sometimes take empty Ketchup bottles and put a string inside tied to the nipple and during their "act" of cooking they will grab this bottle and act like the are shooting Ketchup at you. So when the squeeze the bottle the string shots out and for a half second you think you about to get it on you.

      Well they did this to all people her. She literally went ballistic, crying, hyper ventilating, damn near passed out, and then left the restaurant.

      Nothing really to do with the topic. I just find it very strange that she works with blood and stuff but ketchup is like the worst thing in life. The mind is a strange thing. She is a classy girl to.

              I know a kid who claims to be afraid of ketchup. He's a little goofy though, so I don't know how honest the phobia is. He claims he started the most recent trend of thick-framed eyeglasses.

              My friend, who wrestled with the kid, said they once met a girl who was afraid of mustard. It was like a match made in condiment heaven.

              ::Edit::
              Now that I think about it, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to get a ketchup phobia. A lot of little kids eat hot dogs. Imagine if they dipped the hot dog in ketchup and started choking on the hot dog. They'd probably cough the hot dog up and see it covered in ketchup, and the fear would manifest there.

                I keep mine in the fridge once open. Also, I like my fries dipped in a mixture of ketchup and just a dab of mayo. So good.

                              Fridge. I love cold ketchup on hot food.

                              But i NEVER use ketchup on my chicken (whether it be Popeye's or Tyson Spicy chicken sandwiches). I use extra cane's sauce packets.

                                Oh boy, another poll regarding if a food item should be refrigerated.

                                I don't use ketchup so I don't have any, but it was always in the fridge at my moms house.

                                I'm the same with cupcakes. On my 7th B-day I took cupcakes in to school for my classmates and one of my classmates was also celebrating her birthday and brought cupcakes as well. Well, I wound up eating 4 cupcakes at school that day and I probably don't need to tell you what happened later that afternoon. Suffice it to say, I haven't touched a cupcake since except for those chocolate hostess ones with the swirly line of white icing on top and even those I only ate rarely.
