I have a muscle shake and leave - takes 15 min walk plus changing it's about 20 min...if I was eating real food I'd wait longer.

I find though that even if you don't feel strong because you're not full (hollow legs), you do after exerting yourself a little bit. But feeling full isn't great either because some****s it feels like the food is coming up! I always have to burp when I'm working out, so it would be pretty embarrassing too if I just ate street meat or something like that.

I can't wait to get off of work and into the gym. Doesn't help that my *** is going really slowly due to some work that's being put on the server I generally work on, and it's making it go slower than a turtle in peanut butter.

Weighed in to*** for the gym challenge and I was 1/2 pound higher than last week (263.5). I think it could be water weight though as I feel bloated. I'm going to have to work harder anyways though.

I must confess I just ate 8 almonds and a snack piece of cheese for an additional 100 calories. Up to 910 now. How is everyone else doing for the day so far?

Re: Weight Loss - Tips & Daily Check-in

Guys, I've spoken to trainers who say that this getting fit stuff is 80% food and 20% exercise. And that says a lot since that is how they make their money. And it's true that if you're counting calories you will initially believe you can still eat Burger King (and you can) but you will eventually be forced to change your eating habits just because it's too difficult to work around that sort of food all the time. At first you are like, wow 1500 calories, I could eat a Donatos individual pizza for lunch w/700 calories and still be good to go. But then when you eat that way you run out of calories in a hurry and end up hungry all the time. So naturally you start substituting in low caloric density foods such as pears and oranges. And it just continues to go in that direction.

I’ve got a literal potato sitting here on my desk. Tomorrow at some point in the day I will wash said potato, slice it into about 20 pieces and snack on it. Who needs potato chips with all the fat and grease and calories when I can eat a plain, uncooked potato? That’s how I’ve “evolved”. It hasn’t started out that way though…this has been years in the making. Year of substituting one food for another, looking for answers in every carton of food. Finally you wake up one day and you realize that for your morning snack you’re eating a cucumber and for lunch you’re eating a onions and tomatoes with light Italian dressing and for desert a large green apple.

When you get to that point, you look at 1500 calories and you think, how can I even really ever get to that many calories in a day? Because snacking on a head of lettuce, yes that’s right, just chillin’ like a villain in your man cave, with a head of lettuce and a bottle of mustard, is practically no calories but yet fills you up. Ditto for sauerkraut, hardly any calories whatsoever. So instead of maxing out at 1500 you start wondering if you will even make 1300.

The downside is that it’s difficult when you get out of your routine. And your co-workers start to think you’re insane when they see this type of behavior. But you know what? I don’t really care. They can have their donuts and bagels and get as big as a house. I’ll stick with my head of lettuce and mustard and be the laughingstock. As I get fit instead of as big as a house.

177 calories burned after 33 minutes on the elliptical. Oh dear god I thought I was either going to die or vomit in the middle of it, but I powered through, and now I'm going to take a shower because I'm sure I smell like ****.

                  it is

i lift weights for 15 minutes a day every two days and NEVER do cardio but eat protein dense foods and am shredded

also i love the myth that you get solid abs by doing crunches or ab work, that is not the case AT ALL, the only way you will get shredded abs is by eating at a caloric deficit until you can see them and getting enough protein to build ab muscles and doing compound lifts (squats and deads)

810 total calories today. Not too shabby. Just finished up dinner. I'm gonna do some very light cardio, maybe 20 minutes, and hit the sauna.

                      That had me

I'm starting insanity on Monday. My diet has been great lately which has been reflected in the scale dropping but i need to get more cardio / weights in. I want to be fit not just lean.

Had another weigh in today. Down to 94kg's so down 1kg (2.2lbs) from a few days ago. I have all the family visiting for a long weekend for Easter with lots of good food and booze being offered. I'll have to be strong!!!

My body works differently than 95% of the world's population for some reason. I've lived off 700 cal diets w/vitamins and supplements and was fine.

I've seen those videos. I like that guy, he has a lot of knowledge. I do feel that his message is more suited for the larger women in the Weight Watchers clubs though than it is guys like me.
