Yes, it gives you a small buzz. Yes, you have to be 18 to buy it (just like any other tobacco product).

My roommate in the barracks when I was stationed in Chicago a few years ago would sleep with dip in his mouth. All night long. It was disgusting. The guy was a scumbag and his teeth were gross. A few of his teeth looked black. He didn't make it through school thank god ( we were in school to be medics, how would you feel if you were a patient of his). But yeah I can't believe he did that.

Quit smoking cigarettes was probably the smartest thing I've ever done. Going cold turkey after 10 years sure was a bitch though.

I do enjoy a good cigar every couple of months though.

That is disgusting. I have only dipped a few times and only when I was golfing with a friend of mine who had some...it didn't take long for it to be spit out of my mouth and washed out with water or beer.

I don't agree with you Cuse. I'm a 25 year old and I've only had alcohol three times. All when I was under the age of 18. I hated it, period and I look at it the same way many people look at smoking: I just don't get anything out of it. I'm sure that I will never develop a taste for it.

Never smoked a ciggarette or dipped. Don't really plan on it, I've never seen a reason to. Also, I know myself well enough to know I get addicted to things pretty easily so I figured it was best just to stay away from either of these two.

Drank and smoked weed plenty of times, but haven't in a long while. At first I guess it was fun, but after a while I didn't see much point to either. I mean I'm sure I will again in the future because I'll be going to college next year, but it's not really a big thing to me.

Scary info right there. I would have died 8 years ago but I guess I didn't inhale enough.

I neglected to mention burning in my 1st post as I wasn't sure what the OP was talking about. If he is indeed talking about weed, it's pretty much in the same boat as alcohol for me. Don't do it that often, but have done it before and every time it's been when hanging out with friends. I don't see anything wrong with weed and if you're tempted to smoke it, go ahead. I have a strong opinion about weed that I'm not sure we can discuss here due to the TOS.

I'd like to see MLB do away with it. If we deemed it's inappropriate for a ball player to smoke in the dugout or on the field, why the double standard?

That is your opinion of it I guess.
I am also a senior in high school I have been dipping the cheap Grizzly wintergreen and straight for about maybe three years now, sounds weird but my father actually got me hooked becuase he always did it and he would always ask me if I wanted a pinch while watching soccer games or baseball games.

But I prefer dipping over smoking because, I love to run and lift weights.

Now on to drinking, I don't feel there is anything wrong at all with drinking but I myself am from Scotland and moved to the USA when I was a young lad of only 12. Our drinking age is 5 years old with an adult (private) 16 years old at a restaurant as long as an adult buys and 18 at pubs. I find it very dumb for the drinking age to be 21 but that is IMO.

You shouldn't look online to if you should do it or not, it is if you want to. I myself love a couple guinness's and love my chew.

I truthfully don't understand why it is legal to smoke tobacco or dip while marijuana is illegal and criminal (well I do actually and it is disgusting).
