When Was The Last Time U Bought A CD Or Movie?

I know these days aren't like how it was in the 90s. The internet has made everything possible icluding downloading movies and music. Thanks to the internet businesses like Hollywood Videos & Blockbuster are on the decline and I predict within 5-7 years they will go out of business if they haven't already.

So what was the last CD album or single and DVD movie you bought?

I bought Hold Time by M. Ward on CD last week and I bought 3:10 to Yuma on Blu-Ray late last week.

Haven't bought a CD in at least 5 years. Pandora.com is a slice of heaven.

Only buy HD-DVDs or blu rays....bought Unrivaled and The Dirty Harry collection 2 days ago.

I know I'm going to catch flak for this, but I don't understand illegal downloading. Generally, if I like something I want them to make more of it. They can't make any more if they have no money. And if everyone downloads illegally they'll have no money.

I'm more than happy to spend my money on artists and movies that I like. I like to think that in a very tiny, microscopic way, I'm supporting them and sending a message like "Hey, I like that. Make more of it."

Hangover was the last movie I bought. I stopped because the next format will come out soon and make all of these dvd's I have obsolete.

This isn't necessarily about illegal downloading. In the old Napster days, I got some free music, maybe about 100 tunes, but stopped once it became an issue.

I stopped buying movies about 3 years ago because I found they just sit on a shelf. I was collecting movies I liked, but not watching them. Very rarely do watch a movie more than once.
I'm better off with a movie rental/streaming service like Netflix. Plus my library has a large selection of free DVD rentals.

CD's I still buy, but not very often. I have a ton of music on my PC now from my old rock albums that I converted to mp3. Mostly I just listen to radio for music.

The last CD I bought was a Jagged Edge CD about 7 years ago. I really rarely buy movies. However, I've really become a fan of the Afterdark Horrorfest movies that they release everr year. This year, they only have 4 of the 8 movies in Blockbuster so I bought The Final two weeks ago. It was a good movie too.

I can't even remember the last CD I bought. I think it was Minutes to Midnight by Linkin Park, haha.

I still buy albums I like. I'm buying the Deftones new album tomorrow in fact. If it's a band I like as a whole, I also do not have an issue paying for their product.

I also still buy my favorite movies. In contrast to many, I will rewatch films if I like them enough.

I probably have a little different circumstances than many of you. I don't have the means to download movies and I also don't have cable, so owning seasons of my favorite TV shows are often invaluable. Further, I watch movies on TV a lot because again, no cable.

Last CD I bought was Doctor's Advocate back in 2006 I think. Last movie I bought was The Dark Knight.

I almost rarely buy CD's now although I think I'm going to buy The Adventures of Bobby Ray soon. It's just much easier and convenient to download obviously.

Movies I still buy sometimes if I really, really liked the movie and I know I'll watch it more than once or it has some nice extras but usually I try to stay away from buying them.

Last CD I bought was by a guy named Kevin Fowler back in 08. Almost bought a CD last night though, but Wal Mart didn't have it.
