I can feel his anger. Imagine you are playing a game, and it takes you 45 minutes to beat a single boss on the hardest game mode. You are just about to save, and a stupid useless animal like a cat unplugs your system. Or you are about to beat the boss and it unplugs your controller.

I probably would've been pissed, but in no way would I ever even think of picking it up and furiously throwing it into a wall. I mean, c'mon. Dude has anger issues.

I suggest you get your anger issues looked at then if you can relate to this guy's anger. Your normal, rational person wouldn't even think of doing what this guy did. The extent of his anger issues is not normal whatsoever.

Oh and video games are what is actually pretty useless in the grand scheme of things. Sure we enjoy them for their entertainment value, but other than that they really have no value.

All yesterday I cleaned the rugs in my house only to wake up and find the dog pee'd on them. If thats not a case to be thrown against the wall I dont know what is. I didnt do anything to him btw, I just looked at him and silently thought, I am so disappointed.

The way that I read the article, I thought he was playing online and was unplugged by an Ethernet cable or something.

Now, the only way I could see this situation being completely different to tie it in with casual real-world foes so that it may not sound more lune is if he was doing some important computer work and the cat unplugged something to wipe out his drive. But even then, I never kill the cat, blame the cat, or even think about that incident every time I see the cat thereafter.

I threw a ps3 controller one time and it broke. Fifty bucks later...lesson learned. I'll never throw another one. I felt dumb as soon as I threw it too.

I don"t look at them as "stupid and useless" but I don't have the blind passion some other guys have for them.

Was playing RDR and was going for the level were you need a 5000 dollar bounty...I was at 4000 and some change and I got an error in the connection. I just smirked and restarted even though it had taken me awhile to reach that point. Heck, even the mean behavior in free roam just disappoints me more than angers me.

Controllers are $50 bucks a pop. Kittens are a dime a dozen. If anyone ever has trouble finding a stray kitten/cat they aren't looking hard enough.

On another note I really doubt he meant to kill the kitten when he threw it, probably just teach it a lesson.

I'd actually have more trouble killing a kitten then I would a person that deserved it.
