They have kindle apps on various platforms I.e. Ipad, iPhone, android etc. They all link to the same account if you have a registered kindle. The apps have all the same functionality. So that may be an option until you either save for another kindle or some other course of action.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: OS Book Club Pt II
I just finished an excellent, yet somewhat jumbled (in a good way) fantasy series The Malazan Books of the Fallen.
Ten books in the series and only once did the story not really advance much. I will say it was jarring twice when the author change locales and introduced COMPLETELY new casts of characters. In the end though it generally pulled together but there were a couple things that I was curious about the author left open. It was one of those cases where a character played his part in the narrative and was no longer a necessary cog moving forward.
I'm moving on now to Brandon Sanderson's beginning **** the Way of Kings. I hope he jumps on continuing it after he finishes completing Robert Jordan's final wheel of time novel. But writing those monstrous books takes quite a bit of time.
Can you tell I like my fantasy epics?
/reminds himself to go to the library later
And...the Way of Kings is **** (has already read the first one). That is all. I'm also fully confident he'll end WOT in an **** fashion like he did with his Mistborn trilogy. He's my number 1 fave author right now.
/should really start reading the Song of Ice and Fire novels...
Edit: Why is E.P.I.C censored?Comment

Re: OS Book Club Pt II
Read It Never Rains on Tiger Stadium, Let's Get It On, Sorcery at Caesar's, The Postmortal and Stories I only Tell My Friends.
INRoTS is a guy who played for LSU and became a writer. But he abandoned LSU after he stopped playing. It's more about him and his life than football. A-
Let's Get It On is Big John McCarthy's book. It has stories from the UFC's beginning and I liked it a lot. A
Sorcery at Caesar's is about how Sugar Ray Leonard stole his fight with Marvelous Marvin Hagler. A
The Postmortal is meh. A guy living in the future where they've invented a cure for again. Things don't go well. C+
Stores I Only Tell My Friends is a Rob Lowe autobiography. Lots of good stories. Namedropping bonanza. B+Comment

Just finished reading How I Made $2,000,000 in the Stock Market by Nicholas Darvas. If you invest in the stock market or are thinking about it, I definitely recommend this book because he makes mistakes that every single investor makes at some point in their life.Fan of....
Memphis Tigers - Texas Rangers - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Cowboys
Coaching Career of Chris Matthews (CH2k8)
The Legend of Ocho Ocho

Re: OS Book Club Pt II
Hey guys, I've never been much of a reader, but want to get into it. I'm specific about what genres I'm looking for and hoping maybe some of you might have suggestions.
I don't want to read the fictional sci-fi stuff like Harry Potter or Twilight. Just not interested in that. I'm thinking more... something like reading a documentary about a real life mystery such as Oak Island, ley lines, stonehenge, the Georgia guidestones, DB Cooper, Easter Island, or anything thought-provoking about real or theorized events. "Chariots of the gods?" is one I'm considering. Anyone have recommendations?Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

If none of those sounds appetizing, my recommendation is to hit the true crime section at the book store and just look around for something that looks good.Comment

I bought this a few weeks ago. Haven't manage to read it yet, but I've heard good things.
Picked up a few books tonight. One Bullet: The Making of a Marine Officer by Nathaniel Fick (Platoon commander in Generation Kill), Soccernomics, and Blind Man's Bluff: The Untold Story Of American Submarine Espionage.Comment
