ATTN: OS Poker Players

And more specifically, any of you that play on PokerStars, would anyone be interested in joining a OS Home Game? It's a sick new feature 'Stars just released...basically you can set up a "club" that people can join and you can create your own structured tournaments or cash games and whatever limits you want. I thought it was a cool idea, but I wanted to gauge the interest of people here before doing it.

Playing poker without playing for real money is NOT playing poker. It's really a waste of your time. The entire foundation of what poker is all about goes out the window when you play with play money. People do things they would never do with real cash on the line. Example: Why would someone not make a call when they've got nothing to lose?

Exactly. I hate playing with play money because people having nothing to lose and play completely different, then if they would with real money. Not saying people here would do it, but it's a big difference playing with real money and fake money. I'm interested in getting something set up, outside of OS of course.

We set up a cash tourney on here about 18 months ago or so and even a couple of mods were involved.

On topic: I strictly play on FTP now and will never go back to Stars.

I used to be the same way, but after trying FTP again I will never go back.

It's the much better site for the stakes I play ($75 - 45 man tournaments and $2/$4 No-Limit cash games) or higher but the smaller stakes games seem to be juicer on Stars since there are a lot more low limit fish.

My problem with playing for play money is... no one plays it right.

There's absolutely no risk.. for going all in at any time.. because it's not real money. There's no logic behind it really.

I can only afford the micro limits and the $1 sit and gos, so I'll be on Stars for quite some time. I had a really good run going on FTP, but some really...interesting things happened that made me lose it all. Not just a few scattered bad beats, but literally one after the other.
