    Congrats.. I'm jealous.
I know, I know, I know. I hear you 100% on both points. The only consolation with the tranny is the fact that it does have paddle shifters on the steering wheel so that is pretty cool. I have to have a four door car though b/c I have 2 kids in car seats. This will be my daily driver and 90% of my driving is in rush hour so the auto will be appreciated most of the time.

The wheels are fugly. I already have been shopping for wheels but I'm not going to buy anything yet b/c I'm not sure what will fit with the 14" calipers.

You won't be disappointed. My brother got one about 3 months ago. Great little car, reliable, fun to drive, and a ridiculous warranty.

You pretty much have to join forums and find out which owners are selling. Florida has a bunch of owners.

I totally understand BK, I wouldn't even get a fast car if I lived there. I would go luxury the whole way.

Man that was my last car, I really miss my prelude, (2001 type sh). I traded it in for my sti awhile back but really loved that car. Not the fastest on the road but really loved the style and it fit me perfectly. It was so reliable, I never brought to the shop for the 4 years I owned it other than regular maintenance.

I originally was going to get a Infiniti g37 coupe, but decided to get this:

2011 328i Coupe. Will probably post more pics when I fly down to Houston to pick it up.

Fun cars. Only problem and I am learning this with my Infiniti EX is that black is a PIA to keep clean. Still those 3 series coupes are sharp looking and handle like champs.

What type of oil, do you guys prefer ?

In my other vehicles, I've always used Gastrol GTX, but I'm thinking about using Mobil 1 synthetic in my new car. It's more expensive, but It's the type of oil that's always been put in it and I'm one of those that doesn't like to throw my car something that it's never had.

Never drove stick before but looking to go that route for my next car. Any tips? How long until it becomes natural?

                          It's really not that hard.

Don't waste your' time taking tips from anyone and everyone.

What kind of vehicle are you looking at ?

I've been able to drive one since I was 12, but I also learned on an old 4-speed Jeep that me and my sister used to take out through the woods and wreak havoc with. It was a bitch to drive.

If I had to deal with ridiculous traffic every day, I may feel differently, but as it is.. I absolutely love driving a stick and it becomes second nature. I don't even think about it until someone asks me.

BTW: I was in line at Arby's drive thru and their parking lot usually turns into the Friday night hangout spot. This girl walks up to me randomly and starts talking about my car and she said she liked it. I'm not the best at taking compliments, so I just sort of laughed and said.. thanks a lot.. by the time we got done.. I had ended up pulling around and stopping to talk and ended up with a phone #. First time ever that my car has been a conversation starter.

You'll want someone to teach you in person, it's much easier someone to critique you if they see what you are doing wrong.

There is also a thread in the OS neighborhood thread with tips and blzer even made a video: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ick-shift.html
