Re: OS Cars Thread
Damn, I hate car dealerships. I test drove the 09 Infinit FX35 last night and it drove like a dream. I gave them a low ball offer, but they only came off $500. Today I found a 2010 that's about 50 miles away. It has the same around the same mileage as 09. I just spoke with them on the phone and they were playing hard ball too. They came down $1000, but it's still not where I want it to be. I guess I'm going to keep holding out for awhile because that car has been on the lot for a long time too (since November). You would think that they would want to sell the damn car by now.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

They discontinued the car back in 2009 and it's really hard to find an 06 like mine, without traveling a long way or ebay.
I came off a little more desperate than I would have liked, but I still got a good deal and got almost $1500 more then I was expecting for my other car..Comment

I've never even driven one to be honest and they are pretty rare over here. I was just going off car reviews which were all very positive (one said it should be car of the year). Actually they were more expensive than I had though (about 73k here). You guys have it so good in relation to car prices.
I never buy brand new cars I buy next to new ex demonstrators etc. You can easily save 20-30% as opposed to a new car and they are usually still well under warranty and even still have that new car smell. My last car was 2009 Ford G6E Turbo like I have posted in this thread and brand new they are 54k here. I paid 38k and mine had only 20000km (thas 12400 miles for you guys) on the clock and still had 3 years warranty left. Def something to consider guys....Comment

Man, that Falcon is sweet.
If I ever go American again, I'm definitely getting a Ford. I was very close to getting an Explorer last year. I had rented one and I fell in love with it. I think I just love cars period.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Re: OS Cars Thread
I'll be looking to buy another vehicle within the next year or two. I've upgraded my SS to a Stage 2 (Pullys, Injectors, re tuned) and put a new intake and headers on it, but I'm still rocking the stock exhaust and tip. I love hearing the supercharger whine, instead of it being drowned out some obnoxious exhaust. As I've gotten older, I'd rather my car be quieter.
I wish I had the money to bump it to stage 3, but that requires a lot of work, including some clutch replacement.... I may do it years from now, though... it's all ready a small v8 killer. I've put away some Mustangs and Camaros.. I just accelerate so much faster w/ the supercharger.. then again, I don't know good of a driver they were and they were all pretty much stock vehicles.
I'll pull up to a random red light and there's always some douche bag in a mustang that gets right beside me and revs their engine up. I usually just laugh it off, but occasionally I'll let them have it..
Funny thing is, the same things used to happen to me when I was in highschool and only had a 99 SI Civic... it used to piss me off, because of course they were going to win.. now it's just people being idiots and trying to **** with me.Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
I've never actually tried timing mine out now, but even bone stock with only 205 hp, It's supposed to get to 60 in under 6 ...
My car doesn't really start to pull hard until 2nd gear, because first is extremely short..Comment

I don't really try to race anyone, but once in a while I'll give it a go off the line.
I'm smart enough to know my limits though. If I see a car that I personally know will take me, I just take it easy.
I do know that I will probably upgrade immensely next time out, most likely a higher model Infiniti M.Comment

Re: OS Cars Thread
Just realized you have the SS Supercharged, so you should definitely be sub 6.

Yeah, I'm really calm, compared to a few years ago. I'm a little more cautious and I let a lot of stuff slide.. I drive a yellow sports car, It's bound to get a lot of attention. I just try my best to brush most of it off, but I have been known to race someone from time to time.
I've had it handed to me once or twice, but it's satisfying to win.Comment
