I think its BS that you have to prove a motive in order to get a conviction.

Ever think someone just snaps and kills someone? I wonder how they wouldve tried Benoit if he was still alive? Would they be able to prove a motive?

Too bad there's not a better capture of that as IMO that's in the top 5 best bits Chappelle ever did on his show.

Moral of the story. Karma's a ya know. This lady Casey....she'll eventually meet some type of media driven downfall. Where she ends up? Nobody knows....

                ...Oh wait....look where OJ is....
That's how I see it. With her lifestyle, and how she has to live with this...I think she'll end up doing harm to herself. I think she's so lost in life that this will eat her up and torment her.

Your analogy flew right over my head. And I feel like you marginalized my point. My point is not that this case does not deserve outcry. Its is that America doesnt get "angry" when it really should. The injustice that engulfs this country is never brought to light and fought for because CNN and TMZ dont report it and public figures like Nancy Grace dont get involved.

Im gonna leave it there because it would get too political and embarrassing for the country I love.

You don't understand the irony, or the humor? The humor is subjective. It's more of a "fail," than anything else. Whether you think that kind of irony is humorous is up to you I guess haha.

So you're saying Americans shouldn't be "angry" if they disagree with the verdict?

If not, your original post has nothing to do with this trial or thread. If something is wrong, and people are exposed to it, those people should be angry. It doesn't matter if there are other problems that are more severe.

I understand the irony of it. Just don't find it funny that people want to make jokes at her expense.

Since this instance involved the unexplained death of a small kid, there's no historical precedent, but my guess is the "outcry" from this one will trump anything similar to it as a result...

I will say what I said on facebook and twitter and be done with it. Casey Anthony was found not guilty by a US court of law in which a jury of her peers heard the full case. Unfortunately she is guilty by the court of public opinion that did not hear the whole case but only heard bits and pieces by the media and their reporter's opinions mixed in (Nancy Grace) to form that guilty opinion. She might be innocent but because of that opinion she will be paying for this for the rest of her life.
