Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
When people begin a conversation with "You'll never guess...well, guess!?!"
Well, If I'll "never guess" then there's no point in me trying. It usually keeps them from saying whatever pointless thing they were going to tell me.

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
I hate it when people use the acronym, FML.
I'll see people on Facebook say something like, "I broke a fingernail, FML"
Seriously? Life is that bad that you have to say FML?Comment

"Good times, good times"
Why say it twice? You sound like a douche. And you're not Jimmy Two Times.
and when people refer to a song or movie or something as "classic" or "old school" when they were made just like 2 years ago. Anything in THIS century is NOT "classic" or "old school".
Now with what you said, about a song or movie, that I agree in that you can't call those Classic if they just came out a year or 2 ago.
Oh and this is what I can't stand either:
I know, supercoolstorybro with the Smirnoff Ice, but before I added it the mix was at milkshake status. Not ideal to be drinking alcohol at 9:30, but a bro's gotta do what a bro's gotta do.<!-- / message -->#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Most annoying words, terms, phrases
Agree with the Old School but disagree with the Classic part. I think it depends on the discussion because if it's being used while talking about a game you just watched and you're comparing it to others, then it's ok in that circumstance to use.
Now with what you said, about a song or movie, that I agree in that you can't call those Classic if they just came out a year or 2 ago.
Oh most definitely. Instant classic games are different.
Another thing that bothers me is when people say "ahhhhhhhhhh I miss this song". How could you "miss" a song? The song exists and can be listened to whenever you want to listen to it. There are CDs, digital copies, YouTube, and multiple other ways to listen to any song you "miss". You don't "miss" the song, you miss whatever's associated with the song.Comment

I would have to say the thing that annoys me most is when someone says seen....as in:
Yea, I seen that the other day! NO IDIOT! You didn't SEEN anything. You probably SAW something, but there is no way you seen anything. Makes my blood boil

Why is everyone so liberal with the word "****?" I especially hate the term "**** fail." The term in itself is an **** fail.
Edit: Huh, look at that. Apparently I'm NOT the only one annoyed to death by this.Alabama Crimson Tide
New Orleans Saints

Atlanta Braves
