    Thanks.

And tell your neighbors if they don't like it to put up a privacy fence. Lol

We had to trim bushes that were across the property line. I guess they took issue, but not enough to actually address me.

That's why you never plant things right next to the damn property line. /ArrestedDevelopment.

        Here's your option neighbor

        1) I trim your bush because it over the property line

        2) If you don't want me to trim that bush, then I won't, however I will be my fence on your side of it.

        Your choice.

        Changing the subject...

That feeling that you get as a homeowner when you fix something that is broken (especially when you're not very handy):

From my experience things tend to break in three's... and both my garbage disposal and weedeater took a turn for the worst in the last few weeks. I was able to get the garbage disposal situation rectified with the help of YouTube U. I have to repair the weedeater this weekend. It's been broken for 2-3 weeks now and I've been putting it off, but the grass is to the point where I either have to fix it or buy a new one... I'm still waiting on the third thing, but hopefully it isn't something major.

Picking up a Pergola from Lowe's this afternoon for the pool deck. Pretty excited and it will exponentially spruce up our pool area. Picking up some new outdoor furniture for it as well. Trying to keep the cost under 1500.............its challenging lol.

My advice... Since you're on a budget try looking for furniture at places like Big Lots. They seem to have similar stuff to Lowe's and Home Depot but for less $$$

That's a possibility, but I think BL's may get some of Lowe's or HD's stuff anyway so it may be worth it to at least check it out.

Here's an example of a Pool Umbrella set I bought a few months ago:

All three are around the same size (11x8-10x10.5). The first is $40 more that the one from BL's and the second is $124. Neither have solar lights. Obviously, you would want to check them out in person to see the quality, but I think it would be worth it to check out each place.

Also, for us, we weren't looking to spend a fortune on outdoor furniture. Especially, since we'll probably have to replace it every couple of years since we're in Louisiana where it rains all the time and we don't have room to store it in the winter.... well, the umbrella we probably could, but a big outdoor sectional or something we couldn't store.

Closed on my house on Tuesday. Dealt with transferring utilities on Thursday. Today was the first real day of moving stuff in. Got the main level and 1 bedroom pretty much done. That only leaves 3 more bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. *sigh*

Ordered my USC mancave flag from Amazon (pool table not included).

Finally decided on our patio furniture for under our pergola (which I still have procrastinated in not putting up yet). Got a great deal on it and should be here early next week......................hopefully will have the pergola up by then.

Just kidding lol, we use this stuff called shake away, which is a fox urine spray. You can get it from a home improvement store and it works great (in our experience) to ward off cats, rats, squirrels, and other varmits

I had always heard moth balls being used, but I figured I would see if there were any less harmful ways.

                          Thanks.

I've never had any luck using mothballs for anything. Tried to use them one year to keep snakes away, because I am like deathly afraid of snakes, and it didnt help one bit.

Any advice on how to fix a sprinkler head? Yes, I've youtube'd it but I'm not the handiest of handymen

One of the sprinkler heads just doesn't spray a good distance. Bought a new one but not much change. Twisted and turned it but same result.

That and any advice on burned grass?
