                Ah yes, you beat me to it. Before that, marbles were HUGE in my school. You'd put up your marble against theirs and there would be stipulations for the match. "3 ticks, 1 roll!"

                Here's one I'm not particularly proud of from my childhood. I rocked the rat tail.

                        Pokemon cards were awesome, I'd get a pack everytime Id go to blockbuster. Plus a Wonderball if they had them.

                        Wearing your hat backwards made you automatically 50x cooler, now it's just meh

                                Lmao. I had the rat tail in the fourth grade. Matter of fact, I had the rat tail combined with the high top fade, Complete with zig zags on the side. Lol

                                    Pokemon. I never played it much (I think I had a total of four cards in my entire life, LOL), but for a lot of kids that's all they did during recess when I was in elementary school...

                                        Wearing snapbacks with the stickers on them. I remember we would connect them through our belt loop. I guess snapbacks and leaving the stickers on have made a comeback.

                                            Like everyone else has mentioned, you had to have a starter jacket.

                                            Also, wearing basketball jerseys. I had 2 MJ jerseys: Red Chicago Bulls and UNC. Also had a Alonzo Mourning jersey.

                                            Tommy Hilfiger was the designer label to wear. Can't tell you how many knock off Tommy shirts you'd see walking down the hallway.

                                                        This is a solid thread. I'm cracking up just thinking about some of this stuff.

                                                        What about those damn silk button-up shirts with the designs on them, like dragons?

                                                        Orange County Choppers shirts/sweaters.

                                                        Bowl cuts. Kids would literally have their moms put bowls on their head and just cut around.

                                                        Dying your hair random colors. Blonde was usually the most popular because of Eminem. I happened to die my hair orange once.
