My thought when tossing it in, and not flushing again was just that. It's a waste of water to flush again for one piece of kleenex. Same reason I don't throw kleenex in the trash can. Nothing is more wasteful then taking out a bag of trash that only has toilet paper in it.

Again, I could see if I left a floater or the piece of kleenex had poo stains on it, but it was like two squares. I guess just different things affect people different.

The woman I work with is a ****ing quack.

I go into the bathroom to take a piss. Come out. No more than 3 seconds later, she goes in there and makes sure shes sprays the air freshener. All I did was piss.

Then later, I go in to take a piss, flush. Then feel the urge to blow my nose. Instead of wasting space in the trash can, I just throw it in the toilet not thinking twice. She goes in literally 20 seconds later, and has to flush the toilet first before going to the bathroom. Wtf.

Am I wrong for thinking this woman is a nut job?

If you're anything like the guys at my work that I always seem stuck next to at the urinal, you're dropping *** left and right when taking a leak. Maybe she just does it as a precaution.

Haha no, I'm not a gassy person in the slightest. In fact the pills I take for my acid reflux prevent that from happening.

There is a laundry list of other quacky things she does, that would make you be like, oh...okay I get it lol

Off Topic 2013

Cargo plane crashed right outside the Birmingham International Airport this morning, killing the pilot and co-pilot. They actually shut down a road not far from where I work. I think about stuff like that all the time.

Planes fly in low over the dealership because the airport is just a few miles away. So low that sometimes the satellite radio temporarily goes off.

I live about 20 minutes from Philly airport and there's a smaller one that's starting to pick up business about 20 minutes south too. Hear loud *** planes all the time. Probably not as low as you but sometimes we get some beasts come through. It freaks me out sometimes.

So I'm interviewing for this vacant position at work, I was formally asked. I have to speak with my GM's direct manager, but he said he's going to help me prepare for it. With his vote of confidence, I feel confident. He wouldn't have me go in front of her if he didn't think I would do well. Just gonna go in and be myself, let my hard work and resume speak for itself. I do sometimes feel out of place at this store because its kind of style/fashion oriented. I'm just there to be the backbone, ship and receive everything that people see on the floor. My GM called me a diamond in the rough, I think he meant I'm a little rough around the edges; I don't care about the trends or fashions, like I said it was a job I needed and I've really come to like the company and the people I work with and for. I can see myself moving up the operations ladder, if it's right. Hopefully this is a first step. Truthfully, it would mean the world to me. I'm 23 with one semester of college education. To be recognized, it means a lot to me, more than I can really express through anything other than words. It shows me even in a world that wants to use you for it's own gain, there are little niches where you get out what you put in.

I would probably flush it, but I see what you're saying.

Then again, I would have flushed the kleenex too.

Things that like remind me of how fortunate we are to have clean water at our disposal. I pour out water that's still clean, but is hot sitting at my desk, just to go fill my bottle back up with more clean water. It seems wasteful.

No, I think he meant that you "stand out". You are shining amongst things that do not shine. Congrats man, keep at it!

I came into my company with the same background, only @ 19 years old. It is a great feeling to get recognized and rewarded for the hard work you put in. But things have to fall ryte. There are some real obstacles in the form of people out there. Good work fella.

Slick, youth can sometimes be an advantage, especially if you show you're a hard worker at that age.

That's what helped me get promoted to a Department Supervisor before I was even legally able to drink. Came into HD at 19 as a cashier and a few months before I was 21 I was running two specialty departments and a merchandising department.

There's industrial paper towels, all purpose cleaner, and air freshener in the men's restroom at work. There's no ****ing excuse for it ever being dirty.

I just love when I go in and someone completely missed the urinal too. What the ****, bro(s) ? Is it that hard to aim ?

Maybe they had sexy time before work and the post sex piss stream was all over the place. It's hard to aim two separate streams going in opposite directions!
