This would be my first house, yes.

Honestly, I looked for houses when I moved out, but couldn't really find anything. Plus, I wasn't really sure of a budget since I had never lived on my own. My big thing now is more room. 900sq. ft just doesn't cut for me anymore when I'm exercising in my living room and sweat could theoretically fly onto my stove top. A yard would be a plus and the general customization freedom would be tempting as well. I know I can swing it financially even on my own, but I know there's hidden costs over the life of the loan that a monthly budget wouldn't necessarily capture.

I know I can qualify for first time home buyer's credits and loans, but I kind of don't want to splurge it in a rush. We'll see.

That must be one weird designed 900 sqft. What did they do? Give it 3 bedrooms and a tiny living room/kitchen combo? My place right now is around 900-950 with 2BR/1BA + a basement and it is pretty spacious.

The one thing I like about this place is I DON'T have a yard. Saves me the yardwork and I still got plenty of space with the driveway and garage. If I ever did want a dog, I do have some grass nearby that I could probably get away with using that I don't have to cut.

Nah. He owns an insurance agency and came in to talk about doing referrals for each other.

Oh ok...I was about to say that is a hell of a lot of pressure to work with your GF's dad.

It's a 2 br, 1 1/2 ba townhouse. Walk in, stairs go up to the bedrooms, bath, and in the "hall" is a washer/dryer in a closet. From the front door to the kitchen island is the rec room (2/3 of the space) and then the kitchen. Under the stairs is the half bath. Beside the back door is the pantry and electrical closets. I also have a concrete slab outside for a patio.

It's very efficient with space, but I want a dedicated dining room and work out space. It is roomy, but no way would I live with another person in here. I think I'm one of the few living alone, though. Most of the others have a partner and at least one shin-nipping dog.

I miss mowing to be honest, but part of it is going to be used for flower beds, a garden, compost, and probably a dog. Plus I can shake my fist and make people get off my lawn.

Our dealership has huge window panes all the way around it.

Dude mowing grass for the city slings a metal lug nut from his mower all the way from the center of the 6+ lane highway in front of us, across the parking lot and over a bunch of cars, and smacks the window with it.

We sat and watched the whole thing crack up and almost shatter.

You can go press your finger up against the window and it would all probably fall out.

I'm keeping my head on a swivel next time I see someone mowing out there..

I was driving from the gym today and at the red light I noticed I was behind an armored truck that was leaving the mall. For a split second I contemplated pulling off a heist with sticky bombs; and realized I was in real life so no lol.


Oh and just came form the Yankee game. It was a meh game. But it was a good experience hanging with some friends I dont get to see everyday anymore. Everytime I saw someone with a beer or stadium food I just saw wasted money. Its like 15 bucks for a burger in that place. SIIIIKE!

I hate when shows are censored on their DVDs/Blu-Rays. *looks at Archer* I was glad when Family Guy stopped doing it back when I watched and bought their DVDs.

Part of my job is modifying test. One of the test questions had the word acronym in it. I asked my girlfriend, who also happens to be one of the teachers I work directly with (Can't remember if I've mentioned that), should I explain what an acronym is or find a different way to ask the question. Her response,

"Well, if they know synonym, then they should know acronym is opposite."

*silence*

*blank stare by me*

"I said acronym not antonym. Those are two completely different things!"

"Ooooooooo, haha"

"Yes, I should explain acronym"

No, that's because football kicks my ***. I don't get home until 7-8 Monday through Thursday. Friday, I'm not home until midnight. Saturday I'm gone from 6am until about 2. She gets one day. Either Saturday or Sunday. The other is mine.
