    Insanity.
How the hell did they know that was gonna happen? Sinkholes are scary stuff, what's scarier then the earth just swallowing you up. Ridiculousness.

I watched this thinking it would be amazing, instead it scared the poop out of me.

People will sue for anything and everything these days.
According to the Springfield (Mass.) Republican, the wife of a deceased Patriots fan is suing the team and NFL for at least $10 million in damages for the death of her husband during a 2010 game at Gillette Stadium. Kimberly … Continue reading →

Why is an 8 year old playing GTA?

I usually reject the idea the video games have any impact on a persons mind, but a child that young has barely reached the age where they can distinguish right from wrong. Just idiotic.

Right. There's no doubt that GTA (or any other "realistic" violent video game) had some influence on his actions, but that's why there's an age rating slapped boldly on the front of the game.

Even if this was an 18 year old, no one has ever doubted GTA can influence people. That is not the same thing as saying it is to blame.

I play for Westlake High School and I will give you guys the whole story.

There was only one freshman who got beat up, his name is Wes. Wes called out and was talking trash to a group of 5 seniors and even gave them his room number.

The five seniors went to the room Wes was in and beat him up. His parents pressed charges and one senior was arrested. The other two that were mentioned in the article weren't (I don't know why.)

Wes, later in the week, starts throwing water bottles off of his balcony and hits a woman. The woman presses charges and Wes is arrested.

So to conclude, Wes completely lied to the media. There were only 5 seniors that jumped him (there are only 17 seniors on the roster) and he was the only one who got beat up. It wasn't hazing or bullying, the punk got what he deserved. I know it was against the law, but I'm glad he got what he asked for and is now in jail. He will probably be expelled and that will be the end of him.

Nice to know "only" 5 people jumped some kid, that makes everything OK.

Doesn't matter. Only one kid should've been involved than, not 5.

The freshman Wes is probably an *******, but he certainly didn't do anything bad enough to deserve to be jumped by five seniors. That's ridiculous and you're wrong to justify a beating in a completely unfair fight.

Re: News that make you say WTF?

Gotta love high school justification and gang mentality.

It's why fighting is idiotic, regardless (save for the regulated sports themselves.) I know my way around one, but I would never try to fight anyone. It's never just "Okay, you beat me up" or "Okay, I just beat you" and it's over. Everyone else wants people to get involved.

I've had my tail handed to me before... it was what it was. I didn't go get 4 or 5 of my boys (or if they were there they didn't jump in, because we feel the same way.) If it got out of hand, someone would step in and stop it but having friends jump in and start beating one single person during something like that (especially in a "high school fight") is almost as asinine as trying to justify someone getting beat up by 5+ people.

Stop blaming the victim. It makes you look petty and very immature.
