Well.....forget the fact that I can identify with it.....
What nonsense.
I have a feeling she will be OFFERED her job back.
But I also feel there will be a rather large donation to her AND a job offer from somewhere else.
We are notorious for raising funds for a good cause and I'm sure those guys are taking this one to heart.

(I'm glad I haven't eaten at McD's in many, many years)

I think the issue is they called corp office and complained. They weren't mad at her, but where bringing problems on corp and they told the franchise to handle it. Them handling it was to get rid of the issue. Its more of a misunderstanding, but corp doesn't like people to act on their own because it goes back to them. Individuals don't always think about all the reactions people will have.

I don't see how anyone would be upset by paying for their food though.

Back in 2013, Texas resident Larry Davis ran either a red light or stop sign (reports vary) in his Buick in the city of Austin. Despite his insistence that he had had only one drink, he was put in handcuffs and arrested for driving while intoxicated. Then, when he was given a Breathalyzer test by the AustinPolice Department, he blew a 0.00. Nonetheless, as KVUE reports, Mr. Davis spent the night in jail.

While at the station, Mr. Davis agreed to give a blood sample as well, to prove he was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. The results would later come back 100% negative. Davis’ attorney, Daniel Betts, told KVUE, “My reaction was just shock that this happened."

The Austin Police Department stands by the arrest, saying they believed Davis showed signs of impairment, that while standing on one leg, he “swayed,” and “needed his arms for balance.”

My thoughts on the attorney part of this...

NO WAY MAN!!! Is that lawyer really going to the news about an unjust arrest? For real? I mean he clearly is unbiased and has nothing to gain from this. He just wants justice for his client, right?

As for the arrest...

It sounds like they don't have the best track record for DWI arrests based on that news article. DWI's typically aren't part of plea deals. You are either guilty or not guilty. Based on that video and snippet of info you can't really tell what was right or wrong with the arrest. Just because somebody doesn't have alcohol in their system doesn't mean they are not driving while impaired (DWI)...just sayin'. But like I said the info in the article doesn't sound good for law enforcement. That drug test coming back negative is big.

So on that I have no opinion as I simply can't based on lack of information.

On a side note: when I'm in court the defense attorney's tell highway troopers to go out there and bring them more clients (aka tickets & the big fish = DWI's)

I'm not a violent person whatsoever, and generally find fighting and whatnot really dumb.

But if given a chance, I'd change my views for a day to handle those 2. For free.
