Although unfortunate, I kind of get why they're doing this.

There might be a loophole, though. What about those hats that are off-colored from the official blue and green colors shown on the Mariners and Seahawks hats? For example:






Too many people wear these kinds of hats in the Bay Area, and it kind of irks me, I don't know why. Seems too... I wouldn't say gang related, but definitely falls into some sort of ghetto category perhaps.

Really might just be easier for this school to go for a uniform code if this is to prevent gang-related activity, though.

Haha I wear those types of hats. I have a grey and a black Texas Rangers one. I had a white one at one point.

Yeah, the all white, all black, or all red are most prevalent. I'm not really seeing all blue or anything like that.

And all I meant by what I said is those who wear it over here also correlate highly with those who tend to also leave the sticker on it, wear it crooked, sag their pants mid-thigh, wear a chain, and disrespect teachers like me. I have no tolerance for that.

If you want to wear it because it matches a certain outfit, then I kind of get it (after all, I buy hats specifically so that I can match it with a set of my clothing). That's kind of the edge for me, though. I will only go with the authentic colors.

I got 2 hats one from my college (camo) and the other a Red Sox flat brim with Boston Strong stitched in Red Sox lettering on the back. I'll wear my Red Sox 75% of the time and the camo one to work (rules say I can only wear a hat if it has the school logo on it) and anytime I don't wear my Sox hat.

Also this is stupid. Almost as stupid as a school on Cape Cod that isn't allowing girls to wear yoga pants to school. If they want to wear them they have to wear a pair of shorts over them. I saw this a couple of days ago, going to look for the article now.
