Just from what I've seen, guys I know who post selfies do so in groups just to be like "I'm at ____, doing ____, with ____,___,___ and ____"(many times it's just at a bar or club). Females who do it seem to post pic of themselves to basically be like "Don't I look good in this pic?".

Guys selfies seem more annoying, but female selfies make less sense lol. Guys post them showing what they're doing, girls post them just for sake of showing people how they look at a particular time.

My (uncommon) opinion of course.....

The worst thing about selfies is that there's no variance. I don't mind taking a picture of yourself but it's almost always the same angle with the same look. It's pointless. Seen one from one chick, seen 'em all.

I pretty much have the same smirk in every picture I take regardless if it's a selfie or not.

Which is basically why I said girls ones make no sense. Cause for the most part their selfies look the same. Some might try to change how they look in some pics,but for me at least,I don't like when some have to go above and beyond with changing their look(much diff hairstyle,lots of makeup, ect.). So it might be repetitive,but I'd rather that than each one looking much diff cause they feel need to constantly change their look.

Most of the time though,is is just pics of themselves with a diff background(though background isn't really noticeable since selfie is just closeup of their head)

Whatever...either way,you get what I'm saying. Girls post selfies mostly cause they want to show people how they look and want people to comment and/or like their pic, so they can appreciate how they look even more.

I only do selfies with my son (he's 15 months old)...otherwise they're stupid lol....

Mine are usually when he's sleeping on me or something and it's a cute picture for people to see in our private facebook group.

Ones in public or on vacation are just stupid cause you never really see where you're at.

The last NBA Live I played was 06 and back then it was great. Though that has shown people just how suddenly it is for a big game series to just die if the developers don't make it better AND a rival comes in and puts out a better game.

Too bad nobody does that for NHL series, it badly needs competition. Some say Madden series needs it abit too,but I'm not as big of a football fan to notice the flaws like others seem to notice.

Exactly. If I see someones selfies on facebook with their kid,it's slightly diff cause they might just be doing it more for showing off their kid and all(and being like "look how cute my baby is" type of stuff).

If it's selfies in public/vacation, then like you mentioned,it's stupid cause you can't really see where you're at. Someone posting a selfie of themselves in their hotel room is kinda pointless cause that doesn't stand out at all. Same with at a park or something(where the background is just trees)
