I think the Rolling Stones were four times the band The Beatles were, and I still don't care for the Rolling Stones that much, compared to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
Music discussions are about as pointless as NBA Forum discussions, though.Comment

Of the British invasion bands I think they did the best job of co-opting Americana roots music in their style. A lot of those bands started off the same by covering American rock n roll in their early days.
