Funny not as is the topic funny ha ha (rape, slavery, pedophilia, 9/11 etc.), but funny as in the the quality of the joke(s).

I initially put nothing is off limits, but decided I did not feel like dealing with people coming in and being "What about this? Oh, you think this is funny?"

cake is just an excuse to eat icing (or frosting)
I know people eat cake w/o icing but that doesn't make it right.
people also eat rice cake which is disgusting.
I mean, I might eat cardboard if it had enough icing/frosting on it

but back to my original point, people eat cake for the icing.
if it were socially acceptable they'd just eat the icing straight up with a spoon

In a way, can't you say that about other foods too?

Would you eat pancakes without syrup? Syrup is the reason to eat them, but would you eat syrup by itself?

As it relates to cakes, I dont usually like the whipped cream part of cakes. I don't like whipped cream in general. I know that's different than icing, but I know some people just love whipped cream.

All I can think of throughout this discussion is how dumb cupcakes are. Especially those artisan designer ones that are the size of a thimble. If you're going to eat dessert just do it. Eat an entire cake, or at least a whole piece. It's not like your body is going to think, "oh, he just ate a small cupcake, that doesn't count, all good, healthy diet here." That sugar has it's hooks in you either way lol.
