I know it's become a trend the past X years, but I just can't get behind the "shaved sides" haircut.

People have even suggested to me I get a haircut like that, but I just can't do it. I don't change my hairstyle at all, and it's real low maintenance, and I don't care how popular this other one is.

Donuts, cinnamon rolls, pop tarts, sugar cereal, etc. are not breakfast food for adults. I'm not going to tell someone what to consume because I eat and drink a lot of stuff I probably should not, but when someone at work offers to bring breakfast in for the office and it's a box of donuts it doesn't make sense to me.

Just say you're bringing donuts lol.

If it doubles as a dessert or sweet it's not breakfast to me.

I love me some donuts and cinnamon rolls, but the idea of starting my day off with that much sugar as an adult seems like the worst idea. Even if I was literally gonna stay at home all day I wouldn't do it. Wait until afternoon at least lol.

I never don’t feel guilty after eating a doughnut, like in that I could have completely done without it, I’m not as satisfied as I hoped I was, and there was not a single health benefit to eating it.

I was also once going to buy doughnuts for one of my classes. I went inside there, saw how much about forty of them would cost, said “Nope” and turned around lol.

One of the worst feelings is eating something, most of the time junk food and right after having a wave of guilt/moment of clarity of "why did I just eat that?"

I never feel guilty eating crappy food. I'm not advocating a poor diet and I certainly could stand to eat better like just about everyone else, but life is too short to beat yourself up over some sub-optimal food choices. Especially in adulthood, there actually aren't that many things that are all that pleasurable about any given day (especially for all the working stiffs), so if a 5-minute beak eating a donut is genuinely something to look forward to once in a while, so be it.

Just don't do it every day. I'm pretty sure a donut or two every other week isn't going to kill anyone. Everything in moderation.

                          Re: Uncommon Opinions

I never feel guilty eating unhealthy foods, but at the same time I'll only eat things like cookies, donuts or chocolates if it's around.

Like I'm not going to a store to buy a box of cookies for myself, or even buying myself a donut (unless Tim Hortons has a free promo). So that's what I hate about Christmas. People give the typical $10+ box of cookies or chocolates as a family gift, so now I basically have to eat it out since the tin is so big/taking up space, and many of them do taste good (let's face it, the only reason these strawberry cream or coconut chocolates exist is to keep us from eating the entire tin).

If it wasn't for someone gifting it to me, I'd never bother with eating chocolates or cookies even during Christmas.

But on the flip side, eating 100% healthy just isn't possible either. I know someone who freaks out whenever I eat literally anything because it has something unhealthy in it. "Eating bread is bad, why not just make it yourself....Frozen foods are bad too, why not make that food from scratch? Why do you like pasta? Eat quinoa and squash soup."

And then the salt debate. Yes, too much salt is bad for you, but too little is bad as well. Foods just taste awful with little to no salt, especially items meant to have salt like popcorn. Is there a point of eating popcorn if it has 0 butter or salt? Its unhealthy either way, might as well have flavour.

I don’t feel guilty eating all unhealthy foods... just doughnuts haha.

It’s probably because I either eat them to replace breakfast, or I eat them during a time when my stomach just doesn’t need them (often when people bring it to school). If I had one as an after-dinner dessert, I probably wouldn’t feel as bad. I wouldn’t do it every day, though.

tbh the guilt part from me mainly comes from being a big guy throughout most of teens and early 20s and losing 60 pounds or so over the last two years.

                                I hate IPA's.

Like, I really can't stand them. At one time there may have been some craft to making them, but at this point they are for the most part undrinkably bitter and show no art or craft at all. It's like every jackhole that wants to brew some simulacrum of "craft" beer figures they can make an IPA, so they proceed to do so by just hammering the living dog crap out of their mash with hops, hops, and more hops. Which, I suppose, is not that far off from the actual origins of the stuff, but 99/100 IPAs being brewed today are just complete crap and I have no idea why anyone drinks them.
