Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
Depending on how it holds them, it's possible...
Plus it's probably more economical to buy boxes, rather than packs, isn't it? Then a better shot at rares? Just guesses, I gave up on cards when I was 14 cause everything was about inserts and didn't want to waste my precious money at that age.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
Yeah definitely. It looks like one of those spiral candy bar vending machines that drop the item though rather than the ones that "carry" the item down to you (like soda ones I've seen). I can definitely see the cards getting damaged but there must be a way it's doing it to avoid that.Comment

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
So, I see this thread died a couple of years ago, but I want to bring it back to get some recommendations or just advice.
My wife's brother passed away 16-years-ago and my in-laws held on to his card collection. They decided to pass that collection on to me.
It is largely late 80s, early 90s baseball cards.
What should I be looking for with these cards?

Have you ever wanted to coach or play basketball at the next level, but something prevented you from achieving that dream? Fret no more. Ask me about SimWorld Hoops to see how you can create your virtual self, and follow your path from the prep-level to the pros.

I know this was a generic response and pretty obvious, but seriously, you could have a gold mine if you have some Griffeys.Comment

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
So, random question from a mid-westerner - are there any non-hobby stores that carry an affordable pack of modern basketball cards? Sometimes I have the urge to just buy a pack and see what happens and other times I think they'd make for good prizes for my classroom, I just don't want to break the bank in the process. I just have a hard time finding spots that sell them; even online I can't figure out where I'm supposed to go.Comment
