Blzer, I can tell you there is. A medium my girlfriend had a session with knew something about my mom's passing that nobody but us could know. I listened to the whole transcript of the session and there's no way he could have pinpointed the fact like he did. It wasn't vague, it was exact. Completely solidified it for me.

If you wanna chat about it let me know. I have no hesitations sharing the story her passing and transcript with those that will listen.

While I don't hesitate in sharing it, especially if/when it helps somebody going through what we have, it's still very personal and I don't want to put details of my mom's passing on a public forum.

I'll give Blzer a couple days to respond but I'll also pm anyone else the story that likes ThreeKing's or this post. Just give me a few days. Reading/typing/copy/paste the experience and the transcript always chokes me up and isn't the easiest to get through.

The mediums name is Bill Philipps (one l, three P's) if anyone wants to look him up. Obviously in my opinion he is as legit as they get.

Former NHL player Jeremy Roenick had a very interesting story in his biography.
His mother in law was dying and didn't have long to live. They were desperately calling in all family members to come in and see her before she passed.
The mother was telling everyone that she wanted to make it to the next day (the 24th) so she could say Happy Birthday to her son.
Nobody had the heart to tell her that her son's birthday was on the 17th, not the 24th, but she wasn't thinking clearly due to all the meds.

Anyway, her son wasn't able to arrive in time of his mother's passing which occurred shortly before midnight.

Later that evening, the entire family congregated at a nearby relatives house.
They were all enjoying some wine and spirits and telling stories, when at 3AM, the son's phone received a text saying "Happy Birthday 'Boo'".
The text was from 'unknown', and his mother was the only one who called him 'Boo'.
Roenick said that the son looked into finding out who the text was from, but the phone company was unable to track down it's origin and all of the son's Contacts swear they didn't send it - they all knew his b'day was on the 17th, not the 24th.

Roenick says that he's not a religious person, and really doesn't have many thoughts on the afterlife, but after this incident, he began to believe there was more after we pass on.

Ghost hunting with a Kinect

"Ever since the release of the Kinect motion sensor controllers in 2010, gamers have been posting videos of 'Kinect Ghosts' detected by their Xbox 360," reads a blog post on the subject from the League of Occult Research and Education, an Olympia, Washington-based group dedicated to studying the paranormal. "The Kinect prompts you when a new person is in the room, a phenomena [sic] dismissed as a glitch by most users if they're alone. However there are hundreds of videos on youtube of not only 'someone not there' being detected, but these 'ghosts' also using the motion controller to operate the system."
