I understood the story. An impersonator can pose as a nurse, leave the hospital and never be seen again. I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

I am not saying it was or wasn't a ghost in his story just what it was implying it could be. If the person or ghost brought comfort to the mother and family I think it did more good than harm regardless.

I've always been interested in the paranormal.....have always said I wouldn't mind experiencing something with a few friends but never alone and never where I live. Had a couple of friends who decided to be roommates in this house.

Crazy thing is when they first moved in there was a very old wooden coffin in the basemen, no lid and no decorations or anything, had some metal prongs where the head would be.
Within a few weeks strange things were happening..one Saturday they were both going to spend time with their girlfriend. Left early in the day right behind each other. One got back

and a candle was lit on a shelf, he told his friend he was stupid for lighting a candle, his friend was like he didn't light a candle because I left right after you. The first one
remembered him getting ready to leave right after him and thought ok whatever. Then they started hearing kids playing in parts of the house when neither of them had kids. They noticed one day that the glass in the lower left window pane was missing. Thought someone tried to break in but it wasn't any broken glass inside or out.

Had a party one night telling a couple friends about the glass in the window pane missing and noticed that this time the one that had been missing was there and the upper right one was missing now. A few of them who saw it missing were of course startled and wondering what in the world was going on.

Would hear foot steps in the attic from time to time...had one of the friends bring in a very bright flashlight one night they were hearing footsteps. When they went up into the attic to look around the flashlight went out and wouldn't work, but the minute they came down it would start working...tried this many times that night with the same results.

Couple things finally happened that made them say we have to get out of here, one of them came home one night and turned to see someone standing there in the kitchen. What he saw turned and went toward the wash room area and the back door. He ran there picking up his bat and there was no one there and the back door was locked from the inside. Few nights after that they had friends over watching a movie when some books on the lower shelf were thrown a few feet from the book case they were sitting on. Naturally scared everybody with the sound but after seeing it was books that had no reason for moving that was the last straw. One of them did a look up of history on the house and can't remember if anybody had died there but think 2 or 3 quick deeds were done on the house.

My wife said they were in the kitchen about to walk into our bedroom and he pointed to our room (which was dark) and told her "momma, those eyes, I scared".

Kind of reminds me of one time when my relative were visiting and my cousin who was probably 3 or 4 at the time say a white watering can in my moms room (this was at night so it was dark) and got scared because she thought it was a ghost.

She didn't ask. She gets freaked out easily and asking him and if he gave the wrong answer, she would sleep with the lights on for weeks.

At this point in time why havent you just decided to pitch a tent outside?

Haha I haven't really seen or heard anything yet. I still don't really buy it. I would ask follow up questions, she does not.

I saw the Easter Bunny walking down the hall once at my house when I was four or five. I still vividly remember it. Turned my head for a second, looked back, and it was gone.

Not saying you are doing it but your statement just makes me think...

that the instant write off due to the "Just a Kids Imagination" is sort of closed minded also.
Not every incident can be lumped into one reason.
If no one past the age of 6 had ever "seen, heard " etc.. anything then cool.. but since that's not the case a kid seeing something should be treated just as relevant or at least not an instant write off /ignore.

I agree. But it makes sense to me to work through the most logical worldly possibilities before giving equal weight to the supernatural ones.

Agree. But that should be done for both adults and children.
