A friend of mine lives in Texas and when his neighbor's dog kept crapping in his yard (he told the neighbor 3 times about it), he hit the dog with a shovel and then told the neighbor if his dog did it again he'd hit him with it.

Yeah, that's a little extreme. He could've just sprayed it with the hose or something softer like a broom (not a push broom). I hope the dog wasn't hurt.

I wouldn't even hit a human in the head with a shovel for taking a **** in my yard. Poor Texas dogs. You teach them to go to the bathroom outside, Fido thinks he's doing right by taking a growler in the grass, and WHAM.

Where did he say he hit the dog in the head with the shovel? When I read teh post I just immediately assumed it was across the back side. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. I wouldn't hit one with a shovel for pooping in my yard. My neighbors dog poops in my yard every morning. I just scoop it up and go on with my day.

I know your post was probably a lot of sarcasm, but it's petty to think of all Texans to act this way towards animals.

If my neighbors dog pooped in my yard I would just take a shovel, scoop up the poop and toss it back in their yard.

And trust me, I have a lot of experience shoveling poop now that I have four dogs. If I didn't remove the dog poo from my back yard it would be like the field of doo-doo covered landmine's out there.

My own dogs goes to the edge of the woods to poop.

We didn't train them to do that either..
