Re: Off Topic 2015
A basic serious answer? With current technology, all HDMI cables give you the same audio/video whether they cost $5 or $13,000. These companies try to cash in on the stupidity of people.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I just spent $10 for HDMI cables at Walgreens. 3 foot so it's kinda tight but they work just as well as super gold platinum diamond titanium mega ultra cables would.
Save yourself a couple thousands. HaNHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: Off Topic 2015
Maybe I did not frame my question properly. I'm well aware of cables. The question is in relation to the absurd price for this one in particular, I've never seen such.
thanks for your input though and everybody else.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
Looks like I never updated on my injury. It wasn't too difficult of a recovery so far. 12 weeks off of work was very nice, not being able to do much like sons first day of school, his flag football games etc. Not so much, but..
I went to the doctor today. *Told me he wants me to start standing using both feet and gradually work my way to one crutch. Then a cane and then nothing. Told me I didn't need physical therapy because I've taken care of myself at home and my range of motion is very good. Usually Pt is only to get Rom back. *He said out of all tibia plateau fracture surgeries he's done. He thinks mine is the best results he has ever seen.

My next appointment is in 6 weeks. Doctor said he wouldn't be surprised if I come in there not using anything to get around. *The appointment today definitely lifted my spirits.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
I have to say. Going back to work blows. I would stay up to 1 or 2 every night. Get up at 6 and see my wife and kids before work and school. Eat breakfast, nap for a few hours. Every day at 12-12:30 my recently retired father in law would bring me lunch, stay for a few hours. Was pretty fun just laying back and doing nothing, except for the fact when I wanted to do something I couldn't.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2015
Why exactly do sub/burger places charge extra if you want more cheese, but if you ask for extra lettuce, tomatoes,or meat fillings, they'll (usually) give you extra,at no charge.....
I mean it's one extra piece of cheese vs multiple extra other things.
And something I never heard of before, but subway now has delivery?Comment
