    Impressive, admirin the consistency brother.

I have to admit this past winter has been brutal in the Northeast, that combined with some personal issues has made my Personal Fitness endeavors flop. Just haven't had the motivation, and when I do schedule time to workout the intensity just hasn't been there. Need to bust out of the slump and get it going.

      Re: 2015 FITNESS CHALLENGE

After I graduated college in May, I ballooned up to 185 due to lack of exercise, horrible diet, and copious amount of alcohol.

Now, I've been doing pushups and sit-ups in my bedroom, cut down drastically on the booze, and have done some proper dieting which has me down to around 160-165.

Parents have been using a weight watchers cookbook, there are some good recipes in there!

About to enter a 3-week stretch that has me on the road for 15 days for work, including a 10-day stop in Vegas (I don't even see The Strip, it's 16 hours at the Thomas & Mack), so my workouts will be very limited. I'll try and get something in if I have the time, but if not, I'll focus on eating as well as I can and getting my rest.

I can hit it hard when I get back.

I'm such a cheapskate lol. I ordered the Surge from At&t (not a customer) and just received an email saying I will have it before March 13th. I will keep that order though as I saved almost $40 on their sale.

The Charge HR arrived from Sports City online. Wife is wearing it as we speak. Seems to be fairly accurate which is good. Haven't seen anything that stands out when it comes to heart rate, calories burned, ect.

I looked at that app and liked what I saw. I need something that's timed and will keep me pushing it in the gym.

                      I'm on board with you!

I'm going to research a few things and I'll end up making all custom workouts.

Would like to have days broken up like: chest&back / arms&shoulders / legs / total body

You'd be better with something like chest, shoulders, tris / back & bis / legs / total body.

Could move shoulders to the back or legs day, but putting the two big muscles together doesn't really make sense, especially since you'll be working the smaller muscles while working with each of the big ones anyway. Basically doing chest and back together is like doing total body minus legs (and if you're throwing in something like deadlifts that gets the legs too).

                          Good points

                          I'll probably go: Chest/tri, Back/bi, legs/shoulders, core, total body

That's not a bad 5-day workout week idea with the weekends off...maybe just cardio on the weekend.

Don't burn yourself out with a strict 7 day schedule like that. I'd mix the cardio days in the middle somehow... which leaves room for you to have a cardio/day off without screwing up your lifting schedule. Also, if it's possible I'd try to do more than a day of core. Maybe mix it in with the others for a few of the days and use that extra day to play with for rest/cardio.

Good luck! I love this thread, even hearing daily activity from others is motivational.

Won't see a single one. I have a gluten intolerance, too, so while we have food catered, I can't eat about 99% of it. So, I wind up going to the store my first day in and stocking up on my GF items. I'll be eating PB&J and Turkey/Ham sandwiches all week, more than likely, along with some GF protein bars and shakes.
